I have tried 3 different hacks.
None of them block the iPad version of DirecTV #

I know the optimum app detects it by checking to see if you have an app called cydia on your device, I bypassed it by going into the file system (ssh or Ifile) and going to the folder where it has cydia.app, not the folder with AppStore apps the one with all the apps that are jailbreak apps or default apps. Rename cydia, to whatever, I did cydia1 and it worked. Cydia's name doesn't even change on the springboard either so it has no drawbacks. Idk if it would work here but go ahead and try it.

True, not working in Cydia, but doesn't bother me. Works fine in every other app.

A lot of tweaks tend to not work in Cydia. Probably because Cydia Substrate isn't loaded.

ShowCase is up and running for 64-bit devices. This is a simple app that shows what case your keyboard is in when you are typing...it displays upper and lower case letters where appropriate.

I'm not a heavy user of JB apps, but there are about 15 I remember from previous iPhones that I really liked, and ShowCase is one of them.

ShowCase has been fixed and no longer bombs out apps if you invoke emoji's.

I have an iPhone 5 on iOS 7.0.4.

Maybe FakeTimeWarner(FTW)? Have you tried that?

Ad networks, such as iAd, aren't blocked. For that you need the companion app "AdBlockerNetworks". I just tried installing and got an error loading preferences page so don't think it's good to go yet.

Yeah I just bought and was gonna say the same thing about AdBlockerNetworks on my 5S.

I would like to support Devs with there apps but it pretty ridiculous they always have freaking annoying pop ups ad's and stuff, mostly that dumb game candy crush saga pop ups.

Main reason I bought it too was on like %80 of websites I went on would always take me to App Store to download candy crush saga or some stupid game or app without asking me.

Glad this tweak exist.

Sadly, it doesn't work for newest iPad DirecTV app (but does work for DirecTV GenieGo app )
