But when I click on the apps to unlock I'm only given the option to enter passcode. I guess I would have to disable that first

That's all I get, too, but if you put your finger on it it'll unlock.

I'm not having such luck. What exactly did you enable or change in the applocker settings prior to trying to unlock an app? When I touch anywhere on the that pop up in your pic it just says I entered the wrong passcode. I have no pass code set this time since I had to reinstall the tweak.
Also I don't have "touch ID Enabled" on my pop up as you do. But it is enabled for my phone.

I think there used to be an app called backgrounder i used for that exact reason idk if its still up though
Update: just searched it, the app is no longer being supported, but there is one called background manager and it will work on the 5s
In the settings all I did was enabled settings...first option. Then I added a passcode. There's nothing in settings that has anything to do with TouchID.
You can try Background Manager or InfinityTask. Looks like BM has a higher chance of doing what you need than IT does.

May sound dumb but did you enable the pass code lock and touch is as well as had the phone itself scan in your fingerprint?
Only wayime seems to work is if i have it set up to use my print as the passcode lock- if that ales sense
Yes passcode is set up on both 5s with one finger print. What was the second part of what you said ?
Will try that ! By any chance do you currently have any other tweaks on your 5s? I'm thinking if nothing else it could be a conflict with another tweak. I have already uninstalled virtual home so I know it's not that one.

You are a genius that worked lol I would have not guessed I needed more than one print for it to work. I thought only one was needed as long as it's set up it would work. THANK YOU!
Edit: spoke too soon lol I can't unlock an app. I see "touch ID enabled" in the pop up now but working on unlocking an app smh

I made 3 scans of thumb and two of index and haven't had a problem

Weird, TouchID is only activated when you place your finger on the ring, it never runs in the background. And I just did a test for 7 minutes with Bio Protect installed and %25 brightness and my battery didn't drop a percent.
It's probably some tweak you have killing your battery quick, or your brightness is too high.
I have my phone set up already to unlock phone and AppStore. What I'm having issue now is how to unlock an app. I have "touch ID enabled" message in pop up now. Does it work by the user tapping on an app then touch the home button with the finger that was used to set up the security?

You're using bioprotect ? Not applocker?
Yeah was never a fan of app locker
Have nothing to really hide just don't need the kids "accidentally" buying anything and bio is so convenient it's worth it to just lock the AppStore and eBay type stuff

Yeah. For some reason when I touched the home button trying to unlock an app nothing happened. But a few seconds ago it wanted to work lol. We shall see how it performs
