Weird, TouchID is only activated when you place your finger on the ring, it never runs in the background. And I just did a test for 7 minutes with Bio Protect installed and %25 brightness and my battery didn't drop a percent.

It's probably some tweak you have killing your battery quick, or your brightness is too high.

Springtomize is the best all inclusive tweak/app for all that stuff, just hold on and wait for springtomize 3

+1 for that, the single most NB reason to JB, IMHO!! Awesome, awesome, awesome app!!!! I currently have several apps installed which won't be necessary once Springtomize drops!!

It's probably not a good idea to leave the touchid prompt up for extended periods of time. Just bring it up and open the app you want and be done with it....

Yep it repeats way too much.. glad we now have unlim skips!

that doesn't work anymore.. Siri is set to use Bing on Apple's end.

BioProtect ate 20% of my battery in less than an hour. Anyone else have this problem? I only protected a few apps and didn't even use my phone over that hour. Super hot too.

Bit protect does nothing to my battery. Unless it's very little and I can't notice it. But VH on the other hand sure does suck up the juice. If I had to guess i say it decreases the phones battery by 1/4%.

Of course, but I was making a point of what I did to prove on my end which particular mod was causing my battery to drop at an irregular rate. Since I removed the package, I'm back to normal battery levels.

I wonder if it's not about the mod, itself, but this is actually the reason for why Apple didn't implement finger print authentication more deeply into the OS...
