Exactly!!! My exact problem!!! Lol my phone would get thrown into Safe Mode and I would have NO clue until I tried to do something tweak related lol.

I made a thread on here and people said it was a tweak causing the problem, but I knew better. It couldn't have been a tweak causing the problem if Safe Mode disables all substrate related tweaks.

Ah, now I see what the problem is; please excuse my sarcastic reply earlier :eek:

I had never experienced this problem myself because the only times I have gone into safe mode on iOS7 have been on purpose.

Haha yup. I've mentioned this in another thread as well but the person who was asking for help said I was wrong. Not sure whatever came from his issue though. Hopefully he got it sorted out.

I don't know if you've been keeping up to date (with the monstrous explosion in activity ;)) but you can use Five Icon Dock Modoki from the repo kindadev.com/apt

I'm also using the dev's...
DisableWelcomeBanner (disabled Game Center Welcome Banner)
KillBackground7 (similar to KillBackground, if you ever used it, but with some bugs which I don't know if it'll ever be fixed)
PasswordPilotModoki (same as PasswordPilot)

unfortunately, the QuickStore beta doesn't seem to be working for me

Does anyone know what tweak could be throwing my iPhone into safe mode?

It specifically happens when I'm in a call and I try do to something else regarding Notification Center, pressing the home button, or even locking it. 9 times outta 10 it gets thrown into safe mode, but specifically during a call.

Just realized it was QuickShoot Pro 2!!! I uninstalled it and sent the developers an email about the bug. Every time I used an audio output other than the phone's default earpiece (such as speakerphone, my earphones, etc.) the springboard crashed if I did anything other than remain in the phone app.

I believe that conversation was with me. You must have read my issue wrong as I was not missing tweaks, I was missing apps and tweaks. They were installed and working but the icons fort hem went missing when i would move them into a folder. It had nothing to do with safe mode at all. It was a conflict between two tweaks that I had installed. Hidden settings7 and infinifolders. Once I uninstalled infinifolders all was well. :)

Awesome. Thanks for the update. I'll check out the new five icon dock. I don't use any package to kill background apps or free up ram or anything like that. I think they have a negative effect on iOS. The only thing I do in this area, and I do it manually, is kill big resource apps like infinity blade when I'm done using them. But ursine of big apps like that, I just keep everything in my task switcher like a stock device. I believe it takes more CPU and battery to reopen big all the time than it does waking them up from being suspended in ram.

Anyways, thanks for the tip on five icon dock! I'll check it out :D

Not sure if you ever found a solution, but Flex can easily hide those divider lines. Just takes one tiny patch.

Let me know if you want a link to the solution.

Edit: Just realized another poster suggested a tweak in Cydia. Well, anyways I guess if you already use Flex then you can at least remove an extra tweak lol
 
Is there a way to install mywi and Pdanet on to the same iphone? When I try, either one deletes the other.

Thanks for sharing that info regarding five icon dock. Works well. I'll keep this until/if saurik updates his tweak.

Regarding QuickStore, I used to use BrowseInApp for this. It did much more than just the App Store though. I loved this tweak because I frequently come across links in twitter or email and it's just something I want to quickly glance at. With this tweak, it would open a window in the app you're in so you can do what you need to do. It worked for App Store and websites. I absolutely loved it.

Im not sure if it's been updated for 7.x yet but it's worth cecking out if you like the idea of QuickStore. It's the same thing but better in my opinion.

Another fun fact: that unofficial five icon dock doesn't require icon support as a dependency :p

Wow you're absolutely right. I didn't even realize it wasn't installing IconSupport. IconSupport is a useful package. I like having that safety net lol.

Either way, thanks again bro. I now have 5 icons in my dock like it always should be. Thanks!
 
Hi im on iPad air 7.0.4 jailbroken, and for some reason its letting me have 6 icons on my dock without any tweak to allow for it. The only tweaks that I have installed are:

Adblocker
Adblocker networks
Appsync
Barrel
CCToggles
Cloaky
Dockshift
OpenSSH
Photo Blackground
Purge
SwipeSelection
UnlockSound7
Zeppelin
 
iPad's can have 6 icons on the dock.
