Oh thanks, I missed thatThe iPhone 8 records 4K60. They won't limit this to 4K30 with the new SE all of a sudden.
That’s why my SE is 5.7”I need some more of that small iPhone energy out there. These phones getting bigger and my hands are not!
The 16 Pro Max is 6.9”, that’s why I went with that size. Also added the Apple Pencil support because yeah, it is like a Phablet now6.9 is crazy. It’s already beyond phablet size. Aren’t there small android tablets that are 7 inches?
The iPad is rumoured to get a folding version first. Maybe something like the iPad Studio? There should be a foldable type iPhone as the flagship device in the line up.
I’m also someone who misses the Mini a lot. That’s one of the reasons why my SE had the 5.7” displayYour iPhone SE provides an upgrade option for all of us depressed iPhone mini users.
Considering the new iPad Pros are lighter and slimmer than the iPad Airs, I think Apple don’t think of “Air” as a slim and light product anymore, but rather the tier between the standard models and the Pro modelsThe Air in your lineup is a Pro in reality. It’s not possible to make a slim device with multiple large sensors, especially periscope ones with telephoto.
I disagree with the Hibiscus. How about Rhododendron?
Name’s too long for an iPhone Colour I feelI disagree with the Hibiscus. How about Rhododendron?
That may mess with Spatial Photo & Video capture though, since both the Main and Ultrawide cameras need to be shooting at the same time for thatI think Apple have the R&D to build a single lens camera that does it all, a Pixel-style horizontal bar with an 18-120mm mechanical periscope with optical zoom functionality. This would also have a f1.8-2.4 variable aperture.
There is nothbing wrong with the OPs idea. The spec bumps make sense. But there is nothing there to let Apple escape the generic feel of the iPhone. as the most popular handset it has become the standard: solid and reliable but pretty dull. It may be that phones are past exciting but Vision Pro proves that when they want to Apple can still do crazy ****!
Apple could follow in the footsteps of other brands and release a folding device but this would be a capitulation that they are happy to follow rather than make the trends.
I don't think another year of the iPhone 12 is going to do them any favours, even with smaller holes. A thinner iPhone Air would be a standout product but it needs something else to make it stand out. I think Apple have the R&D to build a single lens camera that does it all, a Pixel-style horizontal bar with an 18-120mm mechanical periscope with optical zoom functionality. It might not be cheap but it would make the multi-lenses of other models look incredibly tired.
Thats physically impossible unless the iPhone is the same size as a small brickI like this.
Instead of 3 or 4 different sensors, and the accompanying lenses, put one big ol sensor on the back of the phone to do it all. That way they could use a much larger sensor than what we have now, and much better glass. Beat everyone with a Sony aps-c size sensor, 18-155/200 ish mm lens.
I think they can make this stuff fairly compact these days, and I’ve thought of a way to keep the water resistance even with the moving lens.
This phone would decimate everything else in image quality, no more fake portrait mode bs necessary anymore either.
Sony released their Xperis Pro-i phone a couple of years back that has a 1" sensor coupled with a dual f2-4 aperture.Thats physically impossible unless the iPhone is the same size as a small brick
Lets be honest: nobody is buying an iPhone for its spatial video capture capabilities. That may mess with Spatial Photo & Video capture though, since both the Main and Ultrawide cameras need to be shooting at the same time for that
They aren’t, but Apple is absolutely insistent that all flagship iPhones have that capability, so I doubt they’d consider removing it anytime soonLets be honest: nobody is buying an iPhone for its spatial video capture capabilities.
They dropped 3D touch pretty sharpish. Unless Apple is going to release lenticular iPads and iMacs at some point (which would be awesome!) Vision Pro 2 is already in the rumour mill, with highlights being the M5 SoC and Apple Intelligence (IDK why the OG Vision Pro can’t run Apple Intelligence)They dropped 3D touch pretty sharpish. And some of us hate uber-glossy and the glare reflectivity that comes with it.Like your list except for the anti-reflective coating. Hate that look. Keep it gloss. If someone wants anti-glare/reflective they can put on a screen protector.
I was thinking something along the lines of the S24 Ultra's anti-reflective coating, it's really goodAnd some of us hate uber-glossy and the glare reflectivity that comes with it.
Cause the OS needs ram to run too.Vision Pro 2 is already in the rumour mill, with highlights being the M5 SoC and Apple Intelligence (IDK why the OG Vision Pro can’t run Apple Intelligence)
