I love Apple that Much :)

The one on the left is the Imac 27" C2d 3.06 ghz, this is the daily use machine that the wife also uses, as she likes updating her iphoto stuff. (Nickname: Skywarp)

the one on the right is the Imac 27" Core I7, this is my workhorse for video and photo editing. (nickname: Thundercracker)

and the 13" Macbook Pro is my day to day (Nickname: Laserbeak)

yeah, she hates her HP 17" now, she says it's "slower" compared to her unibody white macbook. i laughed a little bit, as it shows the power of OSx shining thru, as the Hp has more ram (4gb to her macbooks 2), and it has Win7 64 bit. She loves her Macbook, and the Paul Frank case which she finds so cute, lol. I started showing her the small things about iLife, I know she's going to love it even more. She's an activity director, so it will definitely come in handy.

More then meets the eye I would have to say :)

Since the mouse rug is such a hit, I decided to do a little bit of research to find out who makes these and what do you know?

Here is the linky... http://www.mouserug.com/

Now I am not sure how you can order one, but it seems like they have retailers available in US and for Europe and Asia you buy directly off the web. I bought mine way way back at Staples.

Hope that helps anyone who likes it.

Edit: Found another link that you might be interested in...

Oh, great! I was content in just admiring the rug; now, you've shown me how to get one so it's likely going to cost me $$$! Gee, thanks Applelicious!:p

Adding my setup pic

I found that raising the screen so that the center is at eye level cuts the effects of LED bleeding and yellow tint to imperceptible. They were barely there to start with. The result is kick-butt image quality and very comfortable work area.

The drive to the right is my network-shared drive (1TB USB) connected to my Apple Extreme Base station. The drive on the lower right (1.5TB USB) is my Time Machine drive. And the drive on the left (1.5TB FW800) is my archive and iMac HD image drive that I can also boot from if need be.

What are those across the top of the monitor?

My lucky charms! Two golden pigs and a Chinese frog. :)

The Animaniacs tower on the side is a piggy bank given to me by my kids about fifteen Christmases ago (one of best gifts I remember receiving ever). Great for holding spare change that I redeem for iTunes credits... ;)

Very nice set up. I love that wallpaper website. Makes you appreciate the beauty of screen that much better.

My 27" iMac

Thought I'd post a few shots of my 27" iMac. I bought this iMac in the first week of November and have had zero problems with it. I can hear the hard drive occasionally, but I expect that. And the screen has no yellow tinge (I've tested with two different test procedures found here on Macrumors).

(Sorry about the poor quality of the images; the lighting in my office could use some help).

Pic of my setup

Hello, thought I would share and introduce myself as well. Just picked this up two weeks ago. Unfortunately I have to keep my work setup beside it.

Wow...nice set ups guys and girls. Keep them coming...

What I particularly love about these imacs (maybe apple products in general) is how clean the completed set up looks, starting from keyboard and all the way to the back of the imac. My father was visiting me for the holidays (huge windows guy, mainly due to his work I guess) and the first thing he said..."where is the rest of the computer?" I laughed and told him that was it. He could not believe it and after I showed him what OSX can do on that beautiful screen, he was sold. He is getting his 21.5 imac soon. I sure do hope that his machine is not affected by some issues reported here by others. That would ruin him...haha..:D. However, I think he is used to that feeling since he is windows user. oops...just kidding ;)

Nice setups! I have the same mousepad, KyleKlink, though I recently went to an ultrathin pad...
