oh..
its ok to charge in any percentage of battery?
even I have 60% 70%?
Was this not already answered multiple times? Asking essentially the same question isn't going to yield different answers than the ones already provided a number of times before.

I leave my phone plugged in most of the time and use the battery when I am out and about. I would venture to say that my battery rarely goes below 50% before it is getting charged again.

I have a launch day iPhone 4S with the original battery that still does decently well; 5-6 hours of web surfing before dying.

What kills battery is charging cycles and heat accompanied with time. The more times that you discharge and recharge your battery, the faster you wear them out. The hotter your battery gets, the lower the lifespan will be. The older your battery is, the lower its capacity will be. Lion batteries also feel more stress with deep discharges and prefer to be between 20%-80%. There is considerably less stress keeping the battery above 80% than there is keeping it below 20%. Faster chargers create more heat as they push more power into the phone in a shorter period of time - this can also add stress to the battery and lower its serviceable lifespan.

Here's reality - just use the dang phone, charge it when you want, and be happy with it. Batteries are expendable and will not last more than a year or three with regular, daily, use. When the battery wears out, replace it and do it all over again.

Hey,
I disable background apps refresh in iPhone 8 Plus, but WhatsApp and Pictures still working in the background.. why? how can I disable it ?

thanks a lot

I open settings - battery and I see there:
WhatsApp - 2.5 hours of use and 1.2 hours in the background

WhatsApp background activity for that long?! are you checking within the last 24 hours?! My usage shows this.

Ps.

Background refresh and background activities aren’t the same in every app. WhatsApp might locally index your messages in the background but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s using the background refresh feature.

Most of the times the background refresh feature is used by news apps or social networking apps so that you can have an up-to-date feed ready to go when you launch the app again. But messaging apps use different server client protocol.

Ok
so I can't disable WhatsApp and Pictures on the background?

Background refresh will use more battery life because the applications can wake and access the internet to update their information.

Applications can still work in the background for a period of time performing processes before they are supposed to be suspended; believe it is one minute.

Dependent on how many times you open and close the app during the day...:)

You can open the app one hundred times and it has a total of ten minutes of screen time, but one hundred minutes of background time - if that makes sense.

I understand .. and I know that its use battery life..

I can disable it? I don't want it to work in background..

Close the app from app switcher.

Ah yes, you can try doing this. I completely forgot about that because I never kill the apps. Although this might not kill critical processes anyway. But yeah that’s an option to try.

I always do this

Yeah that’s what I suspected. Critical processes will not get killed. You don’t really need to do all that to be honest. Why are you so obsessed with stopping every feature your phone has anyway?

What is this apps switcher?

Close the app from app switcher.
what is this?

Force closing the apps is likely the only way to keep background processes from running once an app is closed.

You have no control over it otherwise. Those processes exist for a reason and they do not use much power at all in the background prior to being suspended.

Double click the home button on your iPhone to access the app switcher. On the X, swipe up a little and hold for a second, then the app switcher will appear.

Hey
Should I to turn off my iPhone 8 Plus ?\
For example: in the night when im sleep and I don't need my phone - should I to turn it off?
because I think its healthy to the battery and the phone at all
Is it right? should I to turn it off in the night?

thanks you all

Not needed at all. Why do you think it’s “healthy” anyway?
I read about it . that its help for battery life and all of that ..
anyway - Should I to turn it off every night when I go to sleep ?
either way I don't use my phone in the night..

You are over obsessing about the battery. Just use the phone normally and charge it over night.

There’s no special treatment required, and pretty sure most people rarely turn off their phone.

My phone…in fact all my devices are on 24/7. They are simply plugged in when I return home.

My primary phone has it's screen on all night serving as a digital nightstand clock.

Can't remember when I ever turned off my iPhone 4s since early 2012 battery still works fine - keep it on the powermat charger 24 / 7 when not using it.

This has already been answered a few times before. Asking the same thing over and over isn't going to somehow change the answers.
