The s7 edge is horrible. Just go on Samsung forums, you will find threads with pages upon pages about the waterproof feature not working, the screens break so easily it's ridiculous, overheating like absolute crazy. But if it contact support they give you no help whatsoever
My S7 regular heated badly. My husband liked his S7 Edge very much but the S7 and I did not get along which was a huge disappointment to me. There was a time I considered getting the pink gold one but frankly I was more "traumatized" (figure of speech) by my time with the S7 constantly randomly overheating than I ever was by the possibility of my Note 7 exploding. The S7 actually burned my leg because I somehow managed to stuffing in my pocket without noticing the flashlight was on. I will never know how I did that but it was what it was.

Where is the forum you're talking about? I only ever saw Android Central. I read there but am not registered to post.

Yeah, and I have seen reports of the S7 having issues with the battery now...
I have it on my next plan and have to pay it off but sold my iPad pro in order to get a new iPhone 7+ just because of how bad the s7 Edge was..

Thanks for the link. I'm sorry you had trouble with your S7 Edge. I'm being careful of my glass Note 7. I'll pocket it from time to time in its case but not when I am going to be bending down picking up toys and banging a laundry basket against my hips.

All is good. Guys I will sell it for the cheap price I can get for it and then have to waste money paying it off lol

I was just thinking, if Samsung did the repairs I eventually received from the beginning, I'd have a completely different view of them and would probably become a longtime customer. I would have no doubts or hesitation buying their products again or recommending them to anyone else.

It reminds me of when my parents used to tell me I can get mad and keep putting off any chores they gave me, but in the end I was going to do them and do them right, so might as well do it with a good attitude and not make it harder on myself.

I pretty much avoid putting customers on the phone with Samsung Warranty Support unless its truly something I can't do in store just for the stories stated above. Samsung CS reps are some of the rudest people I have come across.

Nobody was rude to me, but nobody did anything that actually helped until weeks after my initial contact.

I too am done with Samsung (though we'll see what their phones are like next year).

Horrendous experience with their CS and my Note 7. They apparently don't have anyone to escalate my issue to!

The worst thing is I've had equally bad experiences with Apple. In the future I will be buying all phones through a physical store, as usually they process stuff / generally help you a lot faster than online support.

Well, Apple do have brick and mortar stores. But what bad experience did you have?!
