My school's computer store got the final version of Vista today.

You caught that huh? I didn't realize what I had typed. It's a PowerBook, Pro I believe, and I think it is actually a G4. I understand it cost quite a bit a couple years ago when it was bought new. Sorry about the screw-p on my part.
Boy, we're holding off even considering deployment until SP1 comes out.
Fortunately I don't have to do much Windows support anymore, unless something is broken re: the Web.
But one of our Windows guys put Vista (release) on a pretty new machine with a 256MB graphics card, and it still seemed jumpy and slow at times. Not to mention all the trouble he had doing an upgrade install (which is how we'll have to deploy it whenever we get to that point). Clean install went a bit better, although it wouldn't then let him install some stuff.
