So I compared your stealth version to the original AudioRecorder, deleting these 3 image files of recbutton(see as attachment) in AudioRecorder.app would do the work, right?

Exactly.

----------

So none of this works on iPhone 4?

Nope. iPhone 5+ only (and the 4S if you can use the speakerphone)

----------

I suppose they mean just remove the recording button without changing anything else.

Oops, sorry, I misunderstood the question. I'll promptly release such a version.

DEB file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u...llrecorderremovedicon_0.4-22_iphoneos-arm.deb

My Cydia repo is down (as is the entire Web server hosting it), hope it'll be online soon. Then, I'll upload the new version in my repo too. Up until then, use the DEB file.

----------

Thanks for all of your hard work! :)

Could you possibly created a modified version that just removes the recording button on the call screen? I'm not trying to hide the app it just annoys me showing there

Sorry, I misunderstood your q earlier - see my prev. DEB link.

I agree with Depsey, can you help create a version that removes the recording button on the call screen?

I have to make a lot of conference calls with my clients. Is there any way to not hang your phone with this installed? It seems to hang my phone with this installed even when i am not using it.

Thanks. :)

Does it also hang if you disable automatic recording?

Great work

As stated before, you are doing a great work.

Now some OT:
isn't anyone else experiencing what I am when it comes to files not being deleted from temp folder?

If I want to export a call I first use the export function. And since most calls are over the limit for sending via mail I use iFile to transfer to google drive instead.
But even if I use the email sending for short calls the exported file still sits in the temp folder after sending. Today I had 5 really long calls and they together ended up being over 100MB. This could be a real problem for those that don't know about it and have limited space on the phone.
So I am asking if its just me and my phone...?

What I wanted, I found in the BubbleBobbler 1(I really do not mind the change of icon), I can see the recorded list by the tap of the icon without the "This call will be recorded" MSG and the "REC" button on the call screen. Awesome and thanks so much.

@limneos: AudioRecorder 0.4-62 is now live on my repo, fixes call waiting issue and some call duration listing errors. http://limneos.net/repo

Thanks, checking it out.

Also, assuming Elias hasn't touched the protection scheme, I can even release a self-standing app doing the hacking itself. It may work with future versions, without you waiting for my doing the hacking myself and releasing a muted version.

It may even let for runtime configuring the app to make switching between the different levels of disguise far easier (no need to download a specific Bubble Boggler version from my Cydia to have a certain level of disguise).

installed the update and then went into ifile and installed your file (from previous). works perfectly (no warnings)

Unfortunately, this doesn't work - the MS dylib has been updated by the dev, which means you'll lose the new bugfixes of the new version. Essentially, my version (-22 ) fully overwrites that of Elias, eliminating all the changes.

I'll VERY soon release the hacker tool to avoid having to manually mute the files.

Edit: reposting soon, don't test the prev. version. Found out what caused the problem on the 5s, will release the new version soon.

OK guys, great news: Elias hasn't changed the protection approach. Therefore, I can present you with a working, muted version of his latest release:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u....limneos.callrecorder_0.4-62_iphoneos-arm.deb

Works great on an iPhone 5 7.1b3, fresh install on an absolutely virgin device (no official version was installed before this). Could someone test with an 5s?

Only the (non-British) English language works; other languages are NOT muted. Switch the language to US English before testing if you're on another language.

As soon as I'm sure it also works on the 5s, I change the other languages too.

I would use my 5S to test it, but it has had several Limneos versions installed before.

That's not a problem as there are changes in three files only, and all of them are overwritten when you install my version.
