On my Vaio TT with 10.1 in Chrome it work super smooth with only 23-27% cpu usage in 1080 mode. Under Safari it was 25-33% n 1080.
As does my rev C.My rev b SSD handles that vid perfectly, without a hiccup.
How is the screen on the new macbook air?
The IPS screens on the new Macbook Pros are absolutely gorgeous. Apple really hyped that those were IPS screens.
I see no mention of IPS screens in the new Macbook Airs. I really hope that the screens are of similar quality because the Macbook Pros (especially the 15 in) have lust-worthy displays

Does it have an IR sensor for the remote?

Does it have a Mic like the MBPs??
Not the best test, as my old Macbook (2.16 GHz C2D, 2GB DDR2 ram, 320GB hard drive) with the Intel GMA 950 integrated graphics can play it at 720p, full screen, without issues, only my fans spinning at full speed.
Now, Apple has a site with HD videos, most of them in 1080p. The link is: http://www.apple.com/br/quicktime/guide/hd/
Most of those videos will run like a powerpoint presentation when I try to video them in 1080p. It will drop frames, play scenes choppy, and my machine will sound like it's ready to blast off down a runway.
This video in particular will make my Macbook cry: http://www.apple.com/br/quicktime/guide/hd/bbc-nhk.html
I just played the 1080p Japan link on my 5 year old C2D MBP
