Response to optophobia

Thanks for joining the conversation, apologies if you feel as if you've been 'scammed' it is clearly not our intention. In the app store, buyer power is high and supplier power is low, if you aren't satisfied with our product i would suggest requesting a refund that will certainly be honored by apple.

This is correct. I requested a refund from Apple and received one quickly. I've never before requested a refund (after a lot of purchases) so was happy to see Apple do this. I'd suggest other unhappy users do the same. There are other great options available.

I only read through page one where someone mentioned the negative reviews. The rep from this app responded stating that those reviews may not be from actual customers but you can't post a review unless you have purchased the app.

I'm staying with CoPilot. There is no cheap price with features left out, it's one low price with TTS and the ability to add-on traffic and gas prices.

While I have no love left for NDrive, in principle your comment above might not be completely accurate. If you search the app store, I don't think it's difficult to make a case that /some/ developers buy competing apps only for the purpose or writing negative reviews.

I don't have any reason to think this is the case w/ NDrive, but in principle not al reviews can be trusted.

Apple told me they will make one exception to their "all sales are final" policy and I've exhausted that with another program that didn't perform as advertised.

I still feel the appropriate solution is to upgrade those of us who bought the $2.99 app believing it was the $32.99 app at an introductory price.

Here here! I AGREE NDrive needs to do the right thing! Why do they say apple is at fault??

Re: NDrive USA targets 1,000,000 iPhone users @ $2.99

Well I guess you made it. I see that ndrive is on Apptrackr. You should send them a lawyer letter soon.

upgrade policies

Hate to dig this old thread back up again, but I'm hoping someone knows what the NDrive upgrade policies are? It's one of the few threads w/ useful info on NDrive that I could dig up on Google.

I.e., what happens if their app is upgraded from V10 to V11?
What happens if the maps are updated?
What happens if you switch phones?
You'd think this would be covered by the FAQ...:(

LOL.. Read the thread. It's not even being sold anymore. Hasn't been for over two months.

And yet the web site still has iPhone/iPad pages

Apparently NDrive intends to do business wit Apple eventually. Their website still touts the v10 iPhone app with all the bells and whistles. And it's funny, but they make no mention, in FAQs or elsewhere, that the app isn not really available anymore.

I can only hope they fix their issues (rumors were that it was map licensing) and begin to resell the app or we buyers will be out of luck as far as upgrades, new maps, etc.
