I can confirm (as have others on redit) that TSPROTECTOR 8 ALPHA does NOT prevent Tivo's detection of the jailbreak :-(

Does anyone know if the Dish Anywhere app can connect to the hopper & stream normally, or does that app also shut down like directv?

I'm not losing hope though. It's only a matter of time.

I currently have a Retina Mini. iOS 7.0.2 jailbroken with Tivo working based on xCon v37b7

I bought an Air 2 and returned it. Too big.

I bought an iPad Mini 3, and jailbroke it, in hopes that a solution for TiVo comes out within the 30 day return period. Otherwise it's going back and I'm sticking with my original Mini Retina.

Figured it's a costly upgrade but have return-protection if something doesn't come out. LOL

for anyone interested, DTVRunner still works for letting the DirectV app work.
TSProtector works on the Morgan Stanley app.

Thanks Syndicate.

Also not sure why my $1000 ios device won't give me the option to like ur comment directly so yes I did type this out just for that purpose lol

Yeah beta 0.0.1-4 :)

Apparently I have 0.1.1-2 now (from developer's repo)
And I do not believe it is blocking any jailbreak detection (yet)

Wow, you guys are adventurous. :)
Thanks for at least trying and taking the risk.

Hey Juice,

Did some investigation before installing it, one of the previous versions was causing some issues, but developer has ironed that out now.

Just hoping he adds DirecTV GenieGo to the app

FYI - There is a newer version of xCon (39-7) on GitHub

In fairness, they're just protecting their interests. Apple secures an OS. There are arguably tweaks out there that might compromise the integrity of the security of the banks' apps, so they're just covering their butts in order to ensure a higher level of security. Regarding the streaming media, don't blame TiVo or Directv, blame the greedy media companies who require these sort of safeguards in their contracts with the distribution providers in order to allow them to stream.

DirecTV's app won't work on JB devices either.

I was mostly just being sarcastic.

To your point, jailbreaking doesn't make your device less safe. Installing certain tweaks from questionable locations does, though.

"Guns don't kill people, people kill people." It's up to the user's intelligence. The banks don't trust people, because people are stupid.

You didn't like the air 2?
I'm thinking about asking Santa for one. :D

Xcon 39-7 is the old version isn't it?

unfortunately for the first time ever I am out of the jailbreaking game *sigh* there hasnt been a tool that prevents detection on GOOD Mobile (enterprise email app) and I depend on it daily for my job. It's either that or walk around with a blackberry in addition to my iPhone which I refuse to do. So unless one of these tools manages to work with Good Mobile I am out of the jailbreaking scene :(

xcon use to prevent detection on good mobile but it hasn't worked for like the last 4 versions now I think.
