For me, part of the reason for me not buying it is the pricing structure and lack of 4K support and HDR at the moment (I know it is all new so waiting to see where it is going).
However, HDR could be the decider for me on a future device if a certain streaming service does not include my TV set but Apple does. Add that in the mix and I will look again with itchy fingers and s fist full of loot.
Problem is I have a fixed price streaming solution from the usual providers and a large library to browse including 4K content and unlimited (within reason) broadband provider. Their App is on my TV. So less clutter.
I have tried the Apple TV in the Apple shop (and it comes across as a superb bit of kit) but adding up the cost of film here and the box set there and it fell by the wayside. The next one has to come out with some good features to get me into it.
I did find it hard to walk away from the shop though without one.
