Any fellow Brits got a tracking number from a courier yet? I'm still seeing it with Syncreon.

You can track stuff with Syncreon without a 'tracking' number.

There should be two different numbers on your shipping details, but neither will show as a 'tracking' number as such, I don't think.

If you put those into the Syncreon site, it should work. I remember doing that with my iMac when I bought it late last year (I just can't remember what the numbers were called on the Apple side of things).

Mine has been collected from Syncreon by UK Mail now. Try your tracking number there. It should still arrive tomorrow if it's been collected.

I think you missed the point - you can track it with Syncreon but they are not a courier so it won't be useful. They just pass the shipment on to the actual delivery courier, and Apple has not given out the information about who that is. However, it always seems to be UK Mail as it turns out.
 
Would have had mine today except:

I wasn't going to be home on the delivery day
I called and asked for it be held at a local Fedex facility for me to pick up before it shipped

Fedex attempts to deliver anyway, and then returns the product to the facility

I call and ask what is going on

They say "Sorry, Apple requires us to attempt to deliver it at your home address at least once before redirecting"

I totally forgot that I ordered this since I already have 2 in my home (upstairs in the bedroom and one in the living room). This one would replace the living room and I'll give the living room one to my sister. Anyway, I was so excited for a good 5-10 minutes when I got an email from my Personal Mail Box saying that they have received a package from Apple on my behalf. As usual, the tracking number is included in the email and I opened it and saw that originated from Ontario, CA which I knew the new iPad was coming from. I had to double check from my order status in Apple to make sure. But, alas, it was the Apple TV. But, it's still a great device.

I just got it because it's the "new" one. I wonder if I will see anything different. I have a 3D LED LCD TV 1080p 240hz, so hopefully. If not, I at least would have the newest Apple TV product.
 
I ordered mine on March 9th, and mine still says "Processing Items" with a delivery between the 26th and April 2nd. Mine is shipping to Ontario, Canada. Not sure if these are coming directly from China, but this sure has been a slow processing time. :(
 
would have had mine today but the blaringly obvious 8.5x11" sheet of paper taped to the door just wasn't quite obvious enough.

will have every door plastered with them tomorrow to avoid any mixups

very thankful the Atv came early so i know exactly what to have up and where for tomorrow.
 
I ordered mine in Canada on the 7th, a couple of hours after the announcement, and it still reads "processing items" with "Available March 16-19." :(
 
Are the movie trailers in 1080p ?

Like the new avengers & batman trailer ?

I cant tell from my tv cause when i press info on my tv it always says 1080p
 
So which movie is in 1080p?

I have never bought anything from iTunes

And i had the atv2 for almost a year

But i would like to try the 1080p
 
On your ATV3, if you select a movie before renting it should show an HD box with 1080p next to it. If it just shows HD it is in 720p.
 
My apple tv order has been in "processing" for 8 days. I went to best buy and they had many many of them. So I used one of their Macs on display, canceled my order, and bought one on the spot.
 
Yes mine was delivered yesterday on the same van as the iPad, even though they were separate orders.

Lucky You, my order status still hasn't changed.

Rang Apple to find out if I could collect them at the store on Monday morning.

After 23 minutes of "you are the next call to be answered" I am about to hang up.

Not my usual Apple customer service experience.
