I think Apple could offer a larger screen Watch that’s thinner, still expanding the internal volume… 🤞🏻Exactly, and if rumours are to be believed the current system prevents the watch from being any thinner.

I suspect most of the buyers of the darker version (if there is one) will be the same couch slugs who can’t run the length of themselves but still moan about the Ultra’s battery life. Those of us who actually run gear hard will likely avoid it because it’ll get so obviously banged up.
They are when you're doing a 35km SwimRun event where you're crawling along cliff edges and swimming between islands in a chain in the north of New Zealand. They're also a contact sport when you're making 3m drops off slatted ramps in the redwoods and eat it on the run out. I banged the **** out of a DLC coated watch navigating a ship, and I have spent a great many years being trained to be very meticulous about equipment care. It's a vanity option, and that's ok - but I guarantee there'll be complaints about it scratching easily. Bet on it.Might want to look into real world results people have had with the space black titanium models before you assume poor durability of a DLC coating on titanium - the exterior of my SBTi Series 6 was mint condition a couple months ago when I swapped it out due to battery replacement. I'm constantly working DIY projects around the yard, house, garage, and vehicles rather than sitting on a sofa. (distance cycling and running aren't really contact sports, so...)
It is a matter of tech not meeting the unrealistic expectation of MR members. These tiny updates are extremely wasteful.
Exactly - or of having any understanding of the design process, supply chain management or marketing. It is a matter of tech not meeting the unrealistic expectation of MR members.
Because too many adults on here believe any rumor that pops up, and start debating and arguing over the reality of tech facade. Why is the magnetic band attachment system getting any credibility? I give that zero chance. No benefit to water resistance or space savings, only the chance for greater theft off worn wrists.
Exactly...screen refresh rates being a classic example...or included RAM.Because too many adults on here believe any rumor that pops up, and start debating and arguing over the reality of tech facade.

Highly doubt Product Red is coming anytime soon. Apple has never done Product Red on any of their premium tier products, unless you count Jony's one-of-a-kind red Mac Pro.Agreed! Let go of the orange color and add Product Red as aesthetics.
