Will the new Sport colors be available in store? I see online they already have it back ordered from 1-2 weeks for some colors and up to 5-7 weeks for others, Did they say if stores will stock the new colors?

I ordered midnight blue for my space black. I might get the walnut or product red down the road.

There are even more colors for women though. I can see myself spending several hundred buying the colors everyone in my family want especially come the holidays.

Is the brown Classic Buckle new? Don't remember if that was already existing before today.

Interesting how the Project Red band is pictured on an Aluminum Sport watch, yet it is only sold with the Stainless Steel. If you want it with the Sport, you have to buy it separate.

yes and the previous classic buckle is gone. it was all black as opposed to black on the outside and brown in the inside.

It makes me mad that they did that, they used felt on the inside and went cheaper with it yet still charging the same price.

All these sport band combinations must be a manufacturing and stocking nightmare.

Two sizes. 16 colours. XL option on two colours. So what's that... 34 options?

But there's more: the bands bought separately have silver pins (except the one black with space grey pin option), but if you look at the new gold and rose gold Watch Sport, they have gold pins. So that's four more combinations.

And then the Editions. Another four.

So 42 different sport bands rolling off the production lines? Wow.

That navy blue does look nice. Is it officially called midnight blue? Either way, I really like that color and will probably buy that one to go with the black.

I haven't even opened it yet since I just picked it up, but the new bands are available for in store pickup here in NYC. Unfortunately they're not on display yet, so I couldn't take a look at all of the colors...

It's leather on the inside. Probably a different manufacturer. Given how many bands Apple is now going to be ordering for their inventory I'm sure there are a number of manufacturers out there involved in filling Apple's orders.

And I assume the brown underside is so that the manufacturer can use it for either the brown band or the black. A lot of leather bands regardless of outer leather color use a brown underside so this is kind of typical. It's usually a softer leather for more comfort.

Have to laugh how you can always count on people accusing Apple of something negative every time they release something.

is the blue a new, different shade of blue? it says the watch in that configuration is "new" and it's not "in stock" like the green and notpink are...

You're talking about the sky blue Sport band, right? It seems to look more sky blue compared to the old one, but I'm not sure.

I noticed this too. I wonder what the story is behind it? I also noticed the blue sport band isn't available immediately, so it is as though they have pulled all of the previous blue sport bands. What was wrong with those? I guess the diehard collectors will have to have both shades!

The new sport bands sure look great on the traditional aluminum sport watch as Apple demonstrates them above. Th soft colors just look great with it. I'm looking forward to seeing how some of these look on SS watches.

Midnight blue looks nice, some of the muted colors are really aren't doing too much for me, but to each his own in this case :)
