Yes! I agree. I

Yes! I agree....I am already looking at other colours! and I want the Hermes bands...hmm! That means buying another watch! Have to decide...don't think I will buy the new I Phone as I am happy with my 6 plus. Also I am happy with my iPad Air 2..... So maybe more to spend on watches or bands!
Yeah, you definitely don't need to upgrade. I, however, will likely buy iPhone 6S+ since my wife wants my 6 and need a new iPad since my Air 1 doesn't have enough storage and RAM. So probably blow another $2K on 6S+ and iPad Pro after already spending ~$1.6K on rMBP and the watch :) Might also have to buy another Apple watch for my wife. Expensive year!

Salespeople (more than 2) @ Apple Store today told me that all sports bands will have option of SS or gold/rose gold pin soon. I am still skeptical about this. Anyone have an answer?

I don't but just thinking it would be cool if the pins were swappable. Since the wide part is against your skin it isn't like it would fall out and the band should be elastic enough for it to work. Maybe there's something I'm missing but I think that would be great. I have space black and would love to take the black pin from black sport band and put it on that product red strap!

Ordered a red and picked up a midnight blue in store today (they didn't have any reds). My bet is within two weeks we see "my midnight blue band is PEELING" threads all over the place. It's a darker color, and wear in the matte coating is going to show just like on the black band. I think it looks great. Could have been slightly more blue - it's a little muted - but it still looks good.

That would be crazy. Highly doubtful.

when I go online they don't show any bands as available for pick up. i'm going to have to ask when we go to the apple store tonight if they have them in the back! then I can just cancel my online orders and get instant gratification!

Went into my local Apple Store today but they didn't have any of the new bands in.

Bit of a shame as I may have impulse purchased a red one, but I'll wait until Christmas I think (a new coloured band seems like a good present to give and receive!).

SS with new Product Red Sport Band. The red color is slightly muted although it is a good solid red. I believe that most people who are looking for the primary color red have in mind a "fire engine" red. Apple uses a slightly pastel-based color palate and the result with this Product Red colored band is a strong red color with a slight pastel base to it.

Went to the store in Indy today at Keystone. They have all of the OG sport band colors out on the shelf but none of the new ones. I asked one of the workers if they had any of the new ones. He radioed and found out that they had all of them except for red. I asked for a midnight blue in 42mm and as he was walking away said and an orange too. He came back with an orange and the Blue LL. Said they didn't have the midnight blue sport band either. Bummed but the orange looks good for now.

All the stores around me in Southern NJ do not have the new bands. I was on the hunt for a (RED) one, broke down and ordered it. They do have all the new watch colors though. My girl tried on the gold sport with the midnight blue, it looks great. Christmas shopping done.

That looks a lot different than the pictures on apple.com. It looks more like what they're calling orange.

Picked up a Midnight Blue Sport Band at the Montgomery Mall Apple Store in Bethesda, MD. Be sure to specifically request it, as they are not on the shelf.

Checked out the colours at our local today.

Midnight Blue - not as dark as the Blue Leather Loop
(PRODUCT)RED - ok, but doesn't grab you
Lavender - very pale, so still waiting for a darker shade of purple
Orange - Apple should've included this with the Space Grey as a standard option

It would be very nice if you could take another picture in less intense (sun) light as it's very hard to judge the actual shade of red when the band is glowing so much. Thanks!

I really like the look of the dark blue one (can see that being my every day strap) and the pale turquoise one. I need to see the orange and red ones in real life before deciding about those; I think orange may end up being my preference.

Does anyone know whether any of the the Apple Stores in central London have them in stock?
