How does your friend know theres an imac like product inside if its covered and sealed?
He talked to the guy from Apple and he is the one that said its like an imac but isn't. He said it took a lot of asking to get that much info
No my friend is not Gruber

Sort of like an iMac, but isn't ... sounds like the new 27" LED displays.

Would be nice to see quality speakers and some ports for use as a TV.

What Time?

To those of you with past experience with Apple updates; What time tomorrow will the info and specs be put on Apple's web site, assuming, of course, that the updates happen.

I'm going to be seriously disappointed if we get a display refresh tomorrow and not an iMac.

mac pro or imac hell i don't care much anymore i'll probs buy whichever one gets updated first. Just PLEASE don't let tomorrow be only a cinema display.

My 2-cents says 27" LED display for $1599.

I don't know how they could justify that price when that's basically the price of the 27" iMac. It should be more like $899-$1099. But I realize "should be" is not always the case with Apple's display prices.

Yeah it may be a new cinema display.

Think about it... Like an iMac but not.

Compared to an iMac, the Cinema display is very similar, it's just missing most of the the bottom bezel is all.
This makes perfect sense to me, the rectangular box might fit the display better and be one of the smaller boxes apple has recently been intereted in.

I guess we'll see who is right tomorrow.... woah, I mean today!

Do check your regional Apple Store for more details.

Overall, looks good... Now, I can start telling my wife to keep an eye on these upgradeded iMacs for the next 3-4 months. If they are good (with little returns from problems), we might buy this fall. We'll see.....
