I sincerely wish that Apple go back to the previous MacBook Air design. The slanted edge felt great to type on. I am probably a minority who really loved the MacBook Air design from 2018-M1.

Meh Updates. I am glad i am broke.
Quit with the negativity.
You are not broke your pockets are just a lil low right now.
“How can I make more money “ is way better than just saying your flat out broke.
My pockets are a little low right now due to my home reno, but even if they weren’t, I’d be tempted to wait it out a few more months for the back-to-school sale. An 11” OLED iPad Pro this year would be perfect for me. I don’t need that speed, I’m wanting that screen.

I’m currently using an iPad Air 2, so slow. Actually, I had a 2017 iPad Pro 10.5” but gave it to my kid, so now I’m limping along with this old iPad Air 2.

Dude, except for 3D modeling and video editing, (and perhaps AAA gaming) there is no need of more power on iPads. If people had to chose between more power and more desktop-like functions, I bet the great majority would chose the latter.
Good argument! With your reasoning there is no point of anything more than a Macbook Air in the lineup either.

Looking forward to the release of new models, so that I can get better deals from third-party stores of previous generations of iPad Pros🤣

now that seems more intresting. An iPad Air with 12.9 inch display.. if it is a LCD display, I'm more intrested. OLED is full of flickering issue, so a big no for me☹️

Considering iPad sales have been a bit lacklustre the last few years, the last thing Apple should be doing is increasing prices as OLED is unlikely to drive significant interest on its own. But then, we also know Apple’s pricing strategy has long been “We’re selling less? Increase prices!”

No, see the timeline here:

Well, it will be an interesting sales experiment then and might get somewhat confusing for customers. With iPad screen sizes being similar (Pro & Air), I guess Apple will try to upsell the new OLED screens of Pro and we shall see if the customers would be ok paying significantly more for this. Unless Apple will surprise us with another must-have Pro feature. I just cannot imagine what this could be.

A 12.9” Air will definitely have a LCD screen, else Pro is DOA, LOL. 😉

These days I advise to just buy the MacBook Air, especially if they do massively increase iPad Pro prices, a Mac is just far better value as it’s far more capable, iPads have such a restrictive OS on them. I use mi e daily but never consider it to be more then a large iPhone, cause it is, lacking basic abilities.

Here’s what I want for the MacBook Air: base 16GB ram
I've had base 16GB ram on my MBA's for decades, you just buy it.
But it's more likely Apple will start at 12GB than 16GB at this point, I think.
Then an upgrade to 24GB ram will be nice on my next MBA.

Good news however to hear the M3 MacBook Air's are in work to be released soon.
I was pondering if it would be worth it to upgrade my old one to a M2 lately. But if the M3 are around the corner I hold out a bit more

This makes me excited, a lot more than the scubas. 🥰
If Apple also could make them in 3 sizes; 11, 13, 15, and by so re-introduce a smaller MBA again I would be absolutely thrilled.

Hopefully true. The sooner the 15" M3 Air comes out the better! I'll have it preordered as soon as it goes up. Would be nice if Apple gave us more than 8GB RAM for starters.
