New iPad Pro Again Rumored to Feature Landscape Front-Facing Camera

Am I the only person who is happy with it at the top in portrait? I have a 12.9 and use it most often in portrait. That’s because I have a laptop that I use as a laptop, and a tablet I use as a tablet.
In what way does the relocation of the camera prohibit or even hinder using the iPad with an Apple Pencil?
Genuinely curious (I own neither).
I use my iPad Pro as a tablet (very rarely connect a keyboard and trackpad to it) and 99.9% of the time it's in landscape. There's one app I sometimes use that is locked to portrait mode and that's the only time I have to change the orientation. It feels very awkward, but to each his own.

It doesn't hinder using Apple Pencil. Charging the Pencil would probably be on the top instead of at the side.
How well will Face ID work with the camera on the side? Using the Pencil in Portrait mode could block the camera for password FaceID.
Release it will you… i have my credit card, house and car ready on the table… release it… ill buy 500 of them just to get the new ipad!

Agreed. I’m wondering now if there will be a spring event at all. Wondering if they will just release them at an iPad event in the fall before the iPhones. Or maybe even after. I’m really excited for the new iPad pros but this cat and mouse game with gurman is getting old. Bottom line is no one knows when they will arrive apart from .
Hopefully they wont shrink the bezels to much, so it becomes unusable while holding it, not everyone is using it as a laptop.
It wouldn't mean much for me to say it's my best iPad ever as the only other iPad I used was the Air 2, but I can say that of all the devices that I ever used, and I'm deep in the ecosystem, the 10.5 Pro is my favorite.

At least, once in a blue moon, apple release something worth the attention, 95% of the news are all rumors (in a way what this website is all about). The iPad has the potential to be a great device. Everyone knows the problem isn't the hardware necessarily. So unless there's anything new, not sure why MacRumors keep posting the same rumor non-stop.
In my opinion, I hope they release at some point in the future a true ipad pro with a hybrid OS between MacOS and iPadOS, otherwise it isn't really a pro device.

I have a 12.9 which is too bulky and heavy to use as a tablet. I like it in landscape with the keyboard.
Reading magazines, newspapers and writing on them in portrait is ideal. But when connecting to a keyboard landscape is the only way to go.
There is no doubt that it will have a landscape camera. What is unknown is if they are going to do the Dynamic Island thing. If they do I personally won’t like it at all. The iPad display needs to be free of notches and holes.
