More than likely yea, It will be interesting to see what design they go with for this event. There are a few things expected to be updated/introduced, iPad Pro’s with a new design but also new Mac’s including a 13” MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, airpod update with “hey Siri” Apple Pencil 2 and possibly the AirPower, if they have sorted out the issues with it that is.

You would think they would want to announce their event first and have these events after they're selling so that they can use these drawing events as marketing/advertising to get people to get the new iPads.

I wonder why they are holding it there when they have the Steve Jobs theatre on their own Apple campus!
Finally announced it. Now we know when it is happening. Now for the guessing game of when they will actually get these things into people's hands. Unfortunately I predict it won't be for another three weeks, tomorrow. 11/9/18 is my guess.

I genuinely did not expect them to announce it so soon. They've almost always announced these events 7-8 days in advance. They were probably reading this thread and wanted to ease our pain..
This! Although I dong get why they are not holding it at the Steve Jobs theatre on campus, also the event will be on at 3pm U.K. time for the first time and the invites have gone out with different designs for different invites. Feels different this time around.
Woah I didn't even notice it was 10AM Eastern, gonna have to get up a little earlier for that. It is a strange decision when they put so much into the SJ theatre. It could be a capacity-based decision, if they want to get a ton of people out there and make a lot of fanfare. The SJ theatre only holds 1,000 people while the venue they chose holds ~2,000.
Big updates coming! I think redesigned iPad Pro, possibly iMac updates along with other Mac’s and an all new MacBook that will have Touch ID apparently (Ming Chi Kuo reported this), new Apple Pencil and other accessories as well. It’s going to be am expensive month
Please don't even entertain this idea in your head, no use worrying about it. 100% both new iPads and new Macs will be announced.
I mean, anything COULD happen but the new ipads keep leaking and iOS12 refers to an "iPad fall2018" so I would be VERY surprised if this isn't an ipad event.
An icing on the cake would be if they announce good iPad accessories also along side it like a Apple apencik Vet.2 and Airpod Ver.2 that would've great, I am just not sure if and when I will be able to buy all of it lol ! But it would very tempting tech toys !!
