Tomorrow it seems

Hi Chris. We certainly will You can pre-order your new iPad Pro online, over the phone and in store from Friday 2nd Nov. -Sam

As someone who has pre-ordered the 12.9 inch Pro and who has the previous gen 12.9 on EE - I would much rather just upgrade on EE and get the new Pro and save myself £1200 for the model I chose....

We will see tomorrow...

How will you save? The XS Max was £93 a month, can’t see this being much less unless they ask for a lot up front

EE in the past had charge an upfront payment of around £400-500 and then around £70. So that’s better than the up front paying out right. But we will see tomorrow.

that works out as approx £2000, not sure how that is saving, lol

I don't think the o2 ones are too bad - yes you're paying £12 per month for 24 months to get 3gb of data but then the iPad is interest free over 24 months. It works out to be close to doing PayPal installments on a non-LTE version (unless I'm missing something?).

EDIT: I was including the keyboard in my calculations of Paypal credit- so the o2 one is not that good a deal. Anyone know of any others stocking them?

I can only see the 64gb option in my iPhone for some reason and it’s how much!!!!

Perhaps I’ll have to spread costs with Very or something. Shame they’re not running a promotion with any money off

Just upgraded my 9.7" pro to a 12.9" on EE

got the 64gb for free on a £62 per month contract (I get 10% knocked off that as i'm on a share account)

they offered me the pencil for £10 per month for 11 months or £82.50 upfront (Cheaper than the apple store)

So how does hat translate to the cost of the iPad? And what’s your data allowance?

Am I best going into a store to order rather than online?

I’ve been with them two years now on a max account but can only see a 2gb a month data option online. (May be because I am on my iPhone)

Got a 12.9 inch for delivery on the 7th, but aghast to see the Smart Keyboard Folio shipping dates have slipped to the end of November with Apple.

Any ideas where I can get one before then, preferably close to Wednesday?

Well £62 per month, take off 10% is £55 per month for 24 months works out at £1339.20 so its £223 more than just buying the device outright from Apple. I get 2gb per month for that, but as with my current iPad, I usually end up tethering my iPhone to my iPad and just gift the data from my iPad contract to my iPhone one. (I actually take the SIM card out the iPad straight away)

Id imagine you might get lucky going into a store on launch day?

Could you say which network, data allowance and monthly cost please?

Will help people who are looking at deals

Seems very low on stock

said expect it within 28 days :(

so for 20GB it’s

£76 a month

upfront cost £50

basically means I have to pay £386 for my old iPad Pro 10.5 on a final bill

So effectively you’re paying £9.29 for the data service

Hi from the iPhone thread :)

Ouch!!

That’s the sort of allowance I’d be looking for, what capacity iPad is it?

Vodafone don't start orders until the 12th November according to "Scarlet" who i chatted with this morning.

I do get a 15% vodafone discount via work.

So assuming i would normally have to pay e.g. £10 a month for some data i work it out to over 24 months:

£919 ipad
£240 data
=£1159
15% discount reversed = £1363
So i would need the price to be close to £100 up front+ £52.60 monthly to work out as reasonable.

256GB model

It was basically £4.50 more from 2GB to 20GB of data

No brainer

Got a 10% discount for being EE customer otherwise Would be £85 a month
