[doublepost=1541153563][/doublepost]Edit: Looks like Swap24 is a 36 month agreement (hence the lower monthly cost), with a considerable upgrade cost option available at the 24 month mark. This approach might work for some
Do you think Apple would ship it early than their website says? 2-3 weeks without a keyboard isn’t great.Hopefully won’t need to wait 28 days but ordered Smart Keyboard which is 2-3 weeks but pencil arrives Saturday

Well I ordered the new pencil and keyboard via apple. As I said in a previous post here, EE offered me the Pencil for £10 per month for 11 months or £85 upfront. Just thinking about this and both options work out cheaper than the retail price for the new pencil. I think they may have been offering me the old gen 1 pencil at that price?
Best check you are getting the new keyboard
These Devices cost like £1,270 for the model I want so what do people really expect when it’s £90 odd for the phones? Products at this price point always will be very high monthly costs. These prices are nuts. You'd have to be completely stupid to pay this from a carrier. I'll stick to buying outright with Apple.

I think calling people stupid is wrong, if they can afford it then why not? For me I'm only paying £7 more per month than I was for my previous contract with my iPad Pro 9.7" and am getting an new £1100 device.
For me, an iPad is something id rather spread out over 2-3 years with a cellular contract as im not upgrading them yearly like the iPhone.
Just because you cannot justify it, doesn't mean the ones who can justify it are stupid.
I’ve worked out that minus the cost of a 256gb iPad you’re paying £23 ish a month for 20gb cellular data plan.
Sim only they offer 30gb for £26 or 15gb for a bit cheaper.
So all in all I’d say that it’s about right!

What will you pay for a data sim though?
Nothing to do with not being able to justify it - I simply won't waste money by handing it to a carrier for something I can get far cheaper from Apple direct. In my opinion, that's stupid economics.
For me my total cost over 2 years is only £223 more than the cost of the iPad Pro outright, divide that by 24 and im paying £18 per month for the data connection, again I don't see what's stupid about that?
Well £62 per month, take off 10% is £55 per month for 24 months works out at £1339.20 so its £223 more than just buying the device outright from Apple. I get 2gb per month for that, but as with my current iPad, I usually end up tethering my iPhone to my iPad and just gift the data from my iPad contract to my iPhone one. (I actually take the SIM card out the iPad straight away)

I've ordered the iPad direct from Apple. I already have a 15GB data sim at £10 per month. Hence, these prices being crazy. Sky don't even hide the fact that they charge a premium for the iPad over the Apple MRSP, whilst claiming it's a 0% loan.
You must have missed my post then.....
Think folks might be missing the point on pricing. Whether you buy a phone or a tablet, buying from a provider is not a way to save money, at best its a way to spread the payments over 12/24 months because you don't want to shell out all at once.
The cheapest option (unless you have some sort of work discount to apply) is almost always to buy the device outright and then get some sort of sim only deal for the data.
It depends. For example, as non-UK citizen, I don't have any access to loans or credit cards here, but I can get it from a carrier. Not at all missing the point. Buying a device from a carrier just to benefit from monthly payments is crazy when there are 0% finance options at retailers and interest-free credit cards.
