What the fudge? Motorola is a leader? Isn't this the second or third phone to use Android? Aren't there others with 5MP cameras and memory card slots. Wowzas.

Apple usually has reasons that are pretty darn good for not doing this or that. 3G? Sucked up too much battery at first. 5MP camera? Probably won't fit in the iPhone because it's not 8 inches thick like this blur thing. Physical keyboard? Doubles the size of the phone or cuts the screen size in half, not to mention a pain to make physical keyboards for multiple countries. Memory card slot? I bet those itty bitty cards run things extremely slow, which Apple doesn't really tolerate.

The one functional thing most of these other smartphones have over an iPhone is multitasking/background apps. That's all about battery life. When Apple can allow those without killing battery life, it will. Until then, Apple will try the background notification server and probably keep us happy enough until that time. I think the BNS could be useful for some things, but this server farm will have to be huge to handle crap like Twitter updates, news bulletins, IMs, etc. that most of us want. I'm still hankering for background notifications from ScoreCenter since that was demoed a few months ago.

Wow, you're really fed with all the excuses Apple gives for the lack of features, do some thinking of your own man!

What on God's earth is Motoblur? Does it simulate motion blur on the camera?
That phone looks horrible. I'll stick with my Razr.

"The first phone with social skills?"
Why do these people say ridiculous things. Apple included too with their graphs trying to prove the iPod Touch is a better gaming platform than the DS or PSP .

It looks very similar to my old M3100

I don't think the phone's that great. However, I don't require a physical keyboard, unlike some people.
It was hard to tell if Motorola included java for their browser. If they do, I'm interested to see how well it integrates into the mobile browser experience. If not, I'm curious to find out why.
Personally, I don't like the term "iPhone killer". It just sets that phone up for a failure of unfortunate proportions. On the other hand, seeing an "iPhone competitor" would be nice. :)

Even if it does "kill" existing iPhones, what do you think will happen when Apple come out with the iPhone 4G with 4G network support, multitasking and a less intrusive notification system?

and admit their notifications system wasnt good enough?
never

Is that a game controller on the keyboard? I would love to have physical buttons with a joystick rather than the god-awful virtual controllers I have to put up with on the iphone. Definitely the iphone's weakest link.
