New iTunes? [Merged] *Now Available in Software Update*

I kind of wish they would go back to when they didn't announce stuff until it was actually ready.

We wouldn't be stressing about the new iTunes if they hand't shown it to us...

That way when they released it in 2013 we would be happy...:D
 
getting it out the door no latter than nov 16th still makes the most sense.. releasing the week after thanksgiving seems unlikely to me because next week they wont be working on iTunes at all and than come back from vacation and release it without working on any last minute issues? if its not here today or tomorrow than i dont know :eek:

agreed! they should have announced it at the iPad mini event and said its coming next month in november! it would have made them not look bad and have a delayed release possibly.

i think next time there is a major iTunes release they need to just not say anything about it till its "really" ready!

Here BlackMangoTree goes to all this trouble to enlightened the uninformed, and you question his/her solid credentials.

i wish apple would announce something about it already saying its coming soon, on a certain date, or its being delayed again.. dont leave us hanging till the last day of the month like before and delay it again!!!! :mad:

Steve jobs apple: announce a product and it launches right then or in the immediate future with a definite date given

Tim cook apple: announce iTunes 11 delay by month, announce new iMacs with no iMacs for sale for over a month
 
With the LTE iPad Minis and 4th-Generation iPads arriving today/tomorrow, hopefully Apple will push iTunes 11 out to coincide with these releases...

the iPad mini and iPad 4 already work and sync with iTunes although there is still missing icons on the info tab. i wonder if the box on the LTE models says requires iTunes 11 just like the wifi only models?

Yeah, I didn't mean because the Mini and the 4th-Generation had to have iTunes 11, just that it'd make sense to roll everything out together before the holiday...
 
if they do delay it again would it have to be delayed to early december instead of end of december due to apple being on vacation for the christmas holiday? in that scenario we will see it now, end of november or early december.
