Mine actually fully reboots.
In the middle of the night usually.
I see the apple logo and then it turns back on.
Many others have experienced the same on stock is so not sure if Apple fixed this issue with the latest iOS release. Hope they did.

my 5s (9.0.2, jb) restarts every other 3 or so days, always overnight. really weird.

From what I gathered, it seemed to have been an issue with stock iOS when you enable DND mode while on the charger

Although that may not be true, I assumed it was a stock iOS issue since there were reports of others experience the nightly reboots on stock iOS devices too

Weird, I never enabled or used dnd mode.
Might be some other bug with my phone.

My Air 2 used to do that once or twice a week when I had it plugged in over night. Didn't see it happen as it wasn't in the bedroom(no phones or tablets are allowed in our bedroom) but when I went to use it in the morning it would prompt me to enter my passcode. It was around the time I was on iOS 9.02-9.2 I think. It stopped when I went to 9.3

This way could be cleaner as no having to create burner Apple I.D's or use a Windows machine.

http://www.iphonehacks.com/2016/07/...-3-3-ios-9-2-using-safari-without-mac-pc.html

Seems for a few website traffic isn't allowing it to download.

I used parallels and all was working fine. I then backed up on iTunes on the mac side and cydia wouldn't even open up, it kept crashing. I took it back over to the windows side, refreshed everything, and all is going well. Not sure if this is relatable but thought I'd throw it out there.

Well that's the fastest JB I've ever done and all from safari on my iPhone.

Early days.

Can anyone advise as I've been without my JB for an age. What did one need to download first in Cydia ? Was it something like MobileSubstrate ?

No, just pick the plugin you want, if that's rely on mobileSubstrate, it will be installed automatically.

Thank you. I've just seen it download with CC Settings.

Oh how I've missed my JB.

Eclipse 3 enabled and no more FisherPrice Ui colours. ;)

Anyone jailbroken via a Parallels virtual machine on a Mac?

Did it work ok?

I did it, it works fine. I recommend changing your settings to automatically connect USB devices to the VM while doing the jailbreak though. It mattered more on other JB than this one, but just to be safe. Also make sure both the Mac and the iPhone are on the same WiFi.

"Messed up" your phone how ?

Was it the J.B ?

I can see no reason why Pangu would need to know any Apple I.D.

Heck I remember the uneasiness last time when the J.B set up asked for access to the photo library (I think)

It compiles the first app with a temp dev account. That way everyone uses a different temp dev account, and much less likely to get the dev account blocked or certificate revoked. If you are concerned about the password, change your password to a temporary password, then change it again after you do the jailbreak.

I don't know why everyone is saying this is Pangu. On Pangu's official site it says coming soon and this jailbreak is from PP who stole Taig's code during the whole iOS 8 jailbreak fiasco. Right?!

That's right. This JB isn't from Pangu at all, it's PP.

Any having this issue with this repo?

It's from Pangu, and the coming soon is only for the English version. The Chinese version was already released on the Pangu website. And PP sponsor Pangu team on this project, but require them to build the jailbreak tool into PP helper. Therefore, the jailbreak part is actually coming from Pangu. Everything was explained in Chinese in there forum.

There is no malware? Is it safe if you use Apple Pay?

Who knows? I personally still using Apple Pay after jailbreak (I mainly use my watch, but the credit card info still stored on the iPhone, I didn't remove them), but TBH, if you have concern, better not to use it.
