For comparison I ordered 24th Dec (UK): 8 core, 64gb, 1tb, D700.

I have not received any further update emails but I noticed the bank has put a hold on the order value on 13th (it was paid by debit card). The order has now changed to unable to cancel status but no delivery date.

But I didn't get any of the emails mentioned here so I wouldn't worry if you haven't received them either.

I just got a second email from apple saying the same as the first.

"We'd like to give you another update on the status of your Mac Pro order.

Your Mac Pro is still scheduled to ship in February. We'll send you an email notification with the delivery date and tracking information once it’s on its way."

So really nothing of interest. but at least I got two of them.

same. i'm guessing this forum will be filled with people wondering when their mac pros will arrive until june.

I too received a note from Apple promising shipment in February. Having been waiting since the end of December, I don't think these Mac Pros are real. It's all a conspiracy.

I guess two times was a charm, because just two days later I received my real shipping email from apple. That little bad boy should be in my hands in the next couple of days.:D

I have yet to get one of these emails. Maybe its an apple Canada vs. apple USA thing. I'm 6 weeks and change into my order (Jan 6). Order status has always said February, still does.

I called apple customer support yesterday, to be re-assured, and perhaps get my shipping bumped to next-day but just got an automated system that told me exactly what I already knew.

Were people calling corporate sales to actually talk to someone.. or the store?

Just so we're clear...you order something. The availability at the time of order clearly stated that it is available to ship in February. So little more than 1/2 way into February you get inpatient, and want to call to get some free stuff out of it???

I live in Ireland ordered mine on the 20th december, 4 core d500's 12GB 256GB, and no movement yet my credit card was not even charged yet. I did not recieved any emails from Apple. Status of the Order is Processing Items, I am wondering will I still get it in Feburary.

Well considering people who have ordered on and after my order date have gotten emails - twice - telling them not to worry (clearly apple seems to think its a long time too), I found that concerning. I make a living with my computer and my MP 1,1 is slowly dying. I wanted to make sure I wasn't falling through the cracks.

Are you also trying to tell me that if you ordered in the first week of January you would have thought February meant February 28th? We're also over 2/3's through February.

I ordered at the first of February, and mine is set to ship March, I fully expect to see it the first week of april, and will not contact Apple until after the first week of April, regardless if I get any of their auto-generated e-mails or not. That's what I'm saying. I don't think Apple will let a 5-10k dollar order slip through the cracks.

Ordered mine on 19th December few minutes after shipping date changed to February, no email, still says February. 6core 512ssd, 32gb ram D700. UK

I just got one too.

Order on Dec 30th ( 6 core, D700, 16GB ram, 256 SSD ) and located in Southern California, haven't heard a peep but still says February.

I am living in Ireland and I am in the same boat I ordered a 4 core 256GB 12GB D500 and noting no emails either but still says February.

Same config except 1 TB ssd. Ordered on the 20th of December. I have received two emails reminding me that I did actually order a new Mac Pro, but no concrete info and order still says processing... Dispatched: February

I have yet to receive a single email from Apple, though my CC was authorized today.

6-core, 16GB, 1TB HD, D700 - ordered 1/1/14.

Seems like the CC authorization to shipping time is all over the place - but everything points to a delivery during my stated "February" delivery date.

I've gotten both the Feb emails, but they have 8 days left now.. I'm expecting an Oops email next.

Update from Apple

Dear XXX,

Thank you for your recent order with Apple.

We just wanted to let you know that your MAC PRO experiences a delivery delay as it is still in the production process and ships from overseas. The only information we have at this moment is that it is expected to ship in February and should therefore be out for delivery at the beginning of March at the latest.

We will contact our logistics department to give you an explanation / reason for the delivery delay.

For more information and to track your order please visit Order Status.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for choosing Apple.

At least is it some sort of update.

I ordered mine on January 19 from PowerMax and received it 2 business days later. It is a great technology achievement for the computer industry. I am very impressed.

Got a question for the people who ordered, do you recieve an invoice right away or did you receive it when it ships out? Need to know because i want to expense one.

Thanks

I ordered 12core/D700s/1TB-Flash/64GB-RAM on Dec 21st. It is now in transit to my local Apple Store for me to pickup on Feb 24th. I decided to have it shipped to my local Apple Store rather than my doorstep for security reasons... :)

My CC showed Pending charges on Feb 11th. Then the Pending charge disappeared for a few days and then on Feb 20th the charge showed up and my CC was invoiced.

I want to make sure my AppleCare+ begins on Feb 24 and not the date when the Mac was shipped. AppleCare said all I had to do was to mention this when picking up the Mac at the Apple Store and they would make it so.

8C/1TB/D700/16GB 12-20 order finally changed to processing order this afternoon :eek::eek:

Have to edit as of 3:18pm PST I have a UPS tracking number of the above in transit. to arrive UPS ground the 27th...time to polish my dancing shoes and get them ready to do a little happy dance.
