did you have your language set to English (NZ) ? I was unsure if I should have it as English (NZ) or English (US)
Set to English (NZ). Did not change anything from iOS 26 settings. My devices are still indexing but I have lots of iMessage, Mail, and over 220,000 photos on there. But the new Siri is active now and works well.

24 hours of waiting is starting to piss me off
if you remember last time a Siri beta was released some people were waiting well over a week. I was around 9 days from install on the first day, From a personal perspective. I wish they limited it to developers who had an app in the store. So those of us that actually need to test got it first and the reset had to wait .

No. I don’t remember because that never happened to me. I got in like 2 hours

When will indexing end lol 29hrs now is pretty crazy
apple has support Docs that say it can be unto a week depending on your set-up of device and amount of content. How much time its plugged in and not used. The issue here is the are now telling people up front in the setting app instead of being more hidden so most people had no idea their device was doing indexing. ( instead they would complain about how bad their battery life was for a week.
