Unacceptable wait times into December.

I agree…and find the incredibly long wait times to be unacceptable as well. Don’t get me wrong…I believe in reducing our impact on the earth, but not at the expense of this. Sounds like a stupid/terrible statement for me to make, but I feel like carbon-neutrality could be handled better in this case. One solution is to still ship by boat, but manufacture and ship 10x the amount to meet demand. With the exception of Apple’s Fine-woven fiasco, I’m pretty sure it’s a safe assumption their products are going to sell like hotcakes.

Victim of Just in Time (JIT) supply chain processes. Doesn’t work so hot with super slow shipping….

I am on the fence of getting a new Ultra 2 with one of those Milanaise Bands..

Did the lucky ones who got one already noticed scratching the MacBook?
I have a silver MacBook and would opt for the black loop..

I keep checking my local stores daily to see if they have any in stock. It's crazy that no one seems to be able to get them before December.

Finally just received the titanium Milanese loop that I ordered near the September launch. My god this band is gorgeous and feels so good to wear. So excited to have a band that really suits and 'dresses up' the Ultra.

Side note - I also kept checking for stock in store, and watching the online ship date for new orders slip further and further. Crazy how tight the supply for this band seems to be.

Supply outside the US seems much better… last weekend I just walked into an Apple Store in HK and bought a black U2 with the Milanese band. They had stock of every size and colour. 🤷‍♂️

I miss the old iStockNow website where you could check on iPhone and other Apple inventory in real time.

Works for iPhone only unfortunately:
RE: Milanese Loop, US inventory for the Watch + Band combo seems to have been good for a while now. If you want to just buy the band, though, that’s a different story. Maybe Apple wants those who are desperate to give up and just buy the watch for $899.

Dang. You made me look, and the Ultra 2 with Milanese Loops are available in my area. That’s frustrating. I really don’t think they made enough supply of these.

I may be superficial, but I found that this band changed the faces I use with the Ultra. As it makes the watch more classy I seem to just be using the California face all the time (with Wayfinder and Modular Ultra as backups).

Any other faces look good with it?

Yeah, it's really disappointing to see the lack of inventory. Similar story with the new link bracelets. I understand the desire to optimize for lean inventory and the use of ocean shipping to reduce CO2 impact, but you really shouldn't announce a product and then have it essentially unavailable for weeks. Apple has been doing this with software as well for a while now, but it feels especially bad this year with the "hero" feature (Apple Intelligence) not being available at launch.

I ordered mine over a month ago, and it still hasn’t even shipped yet. Still stuck on “processing.”

There are no Apple stores in my country, no other retailers here even offer the ability to order it (much less have in-store stock), and Amazon won’t ship it here.

Starting to get pissed off and fed up with the wait.

I have an interesting predicament and am curious if anyone else has noticed this. On my wrist, the band is very comfortable and looks fantastic. Off my wrist, the titanium Milanese loop looks blotchy in spots with uneven polishing…and the band looks like it has “wrinkles in it”. However, this goes away when I wear it. Has anyone else noticed it with theirs….

Was the delivery day within your estimated delivery date? My delivery date is a week range, which day was yours delivered compared to your estimated delivery date.

Just checked the online Apple Store. This band, in all sizes, is now available for purchase with delivery as soon as this Friday (for an extra $8 charge) or Monday with free shipping. Guess Apple cranked up their production of these. Either way, looking forward to receiving mine on Monday!

Only the Natural and the small black Titanium loop is available by Friday at my local store. I ordered the black medium and it (and the large) show early December availability at my local Apple Store. As of now, my arrival window is still

49mm Black Titanium Milanese Loop - Medium

Arrives Oct 30 - Nov 6

There is not a charge on my credit card yet.

My natural titanium medium had the same estimated delivery date. An hour ago, the date changed to 11/4, my CC was charged and it’s now being “prepared for shipment”. Hopefully, yours will arrive sooner rather than later too.
