For whatever reason, this beta was hardcoded to expire at 8PM EST. If you manually set the clock back a few hours, the pop-up goes away.

Actually I don’t think it’s from the unlock - I notice it when I slide up the cover sheet / Notification Center while the device is already unlocked.

Hi. I’m on the public beta. I’ve got the latest update but the new update message keeps popping up when there isn’t one. I think I saw a post a while back that told you how to stop the message but can’t find it. Can anyone help please?

It’s worse today. Happening on my 7+ and wife’s X anytime we unlock the phone.

Both actions initiate a calculation on whether the current beta has expired apparently.

Same here and doing when opening certain apps yes like facebook even. Maybe a new beta tomorrow? But it is a holiday weekend.

I am getting it on all 5 devices now. Every single time I open my stuff. I reported it on all 5 devices. Don’t screw up 12 now Apple.
