Happy I got one! Who knows maybe it won't sell out like the other countries. Says delivery for November 15th. Didn't give me a shopping option.
I'm pretty happy I got one, and I don't think I could have prepared more.
I had several Macs running my scripts to check the site, each of which both texted and emailed me when they should have.
I had a browser over cellular on my iPhone. I had a browser on my Chromebook over my office's public wifi. I had a browser on my desktop over my work's internal network (different ISP). I had a browser on my Mac at home, accessed remotely.
When my phone lit up like Christmas, I was on the site immediately. The Chromebook was used (seems appropriate), but only because it showed "available" first of the 4 options. It took me 4 tries before I succeeded.
I went back to try to score a bumper (just in case) but it didn't work, and I didn't care enough to try more than a few times.
Assuming it arrives before I leave next Wednesday, I am very happy indeed.
For anyone interested, the 8GB version can now be ordered in Canada. Still waiting for the 16GB version to be available.
Ok my 16GB is showing up in Google wallet, but so is the 8GB. How do I delete the 8GB order? Do I need to call Google?
I ordered my 16GB in Canada at 11:37 EST. I checked back about five minutes later and only the 8GB was available. You may be out of luck for now for the 16.
Keep checking the site though. Other countries would have units become available later as people corrected orders that were placed in error for quantity or wrong model.
