That means were close to a new Nexus 4 or 5, whatever they call it. Really excited to see where Google takes both the hardware and software.

Time to clear inventory, that means Nexus 4v2 / 5 is around the corner!

But man, that is a great price for a 16GB phone ... if I was in any way unhappy with my GS3 I'd be all over that

Damn, even if it is a **** phone, I would pick it up as a beater, if it had LTE.

Looks like the Nexus 5 is around the corner

Excited to give the Android a try for the umpteenth time. C'mon Google. Announce the event already. My guess is the event will be about 2 months from now.

For that price, I think it is an outstanding deal, despite lack of LTE, spotty camera and, with many, less than optimal battery life. Nothing compares with it off-contract.

How is it a **** phone? It has served me so well. Better than my Galaxy S4 in many respects. Just as fast 90% of the time thanks to stock Android.

It's a stupidly good deal. These will sell fast, so if anyone wants one, they should probably buy soon.

Despite the camera and no LTE $199 and $249 is an insane deal. Anyone who needs a phone should get this. I might get a second one as a backup.

Thanks for the update. I may just buy it to replace my iPhone 4. Thoughts is it worth it?

Heck yes, especially because it's a Nexus device. In October when Key Lime Pie 5.0 comes out, it'll feel like a brand new phone all over again.

$100 off nexus 4: starts at $199!!!!

Wow!

Google just dropped the price on nexus 4 by $100, I guess they are clearing stock before the next phone is announced in Oct?

Still a phenomenal deal for a great phone. If I ever stop using iphone, nexus is my choice

The nexus 4 is a great phone but it's missing lots of basic things such as a decent camera and LTE. That's why I am always disappointed when I look into non Apple devices. They just never deliver a good balance.

Its 199 no contract. If you want something that has everything look at the HTC one or the galaxy s4.

Well there goes my N4's resale value.

I feel your pain, sweet price, I was hoping on selling this once a new one is announced, now it's not even worth it lol I'll just send it overseas ...$199 is a heck of a deal

my first android phone and it's on point all I need is a better camera other than that it's serving me well

Urgh, I was going to try to do the same with my 16GB but honestly could probably only get $180-200 for it now. Imagine what used 8GBs go for now. O_O Like $120-150?

I had it up on CL for about a week but no bites until today haha.....if I still had it I would just keep it as a "backup phone."

i agree it's a good deal, but as long as the phone is only sold at that price online and not in a carrier store, the phone won't sell.
