I got mine today and unfortunately it doesn't latch into the watch. The buckle side can literally pull straight out of the watch and it slides out with ease. Ugh, I really wanted it to work. Oh well...

problem with all these NIKE+ knock offs is that they are Yellow and Black (or some Green and Black) but they are not actually VOLT and black.

I was at the Apple store today and the look of the legit VOLT and black colouring is much nicer than the yellow in the knock offs.

I really hope Apple opens up the option to purchase these official bands separately sooner than later.

For this alone I think I am going to pull the trigger on the Nike watch. I dont really need the GPS and Waterproof. But the added bonus of faster watch and that color I am digging it

Well, mine is loosing the grey color. It's a cheap 10usd one from Aliexpress. I'm pretty satisfied with it, it's comfy but it's definitely badly painted.

Got it from which vendor?

For you guys where the color is rubbing off, where did you buy from? I don't have this issue with my band from Amazon.

Strange, my band from them is tip top and better than the 3 Moko bands I own. Did you email them?

Take pics of the issue and post them up
I did email them.
I would post pictures but it would be hard to tell what's going on, I'd need to post a video. It looks great though. Hopefully they will send me one that works.

Remind them you want a free code or 50% off code for your troubles. If they don't, I send you the one they sent me lol.

Dude, they're all coming out of the same factory in China.

sure, we assume so, but you don't necessarily know that for sure and I very much doubt they are from the same manufacturer. it would definitely explain the manufacturing defects in some and higher quality fit in others. my guess is there are hundreds of manufactures that are hired to produce these. some sellers have better quality items than others. from what I've seen in my days of working in SLA prototyping of new products, you have your choice of manufacturers overseas that bid on these jobs and trust me, some produce really crappy products.

for instance, all three of my Moko silicone replica sport bands have horrible flashing lines from the molding process. my new replica nike band has no distinguishable flashing lines at all. the molding process is much more refined and the molds tolerances are higher. this is a result of someone paying a lot more money for a more precise mold and probably paying for a higher quality factory to do the work.

If you don't use it (and neither does TacoJamie), please let me know. I am trying to find a good nike+ style band and I would love to try theirs for 50% off.

Keep an eye on 9to5toys daily deals, that's how I got it originally at a $7 discount.

I contacted the seller and he quickly replied with a code for me to order a replacement free of charge. Hopefully he will still give me a free or 50% one seeing as this is still an original purchase, at least that's my opinion.

That offer came to me after the same was completed and the personalized, not canned, follow up email came. So give it time. Worst case, simply ask for one. Just note that you left a positive review (so long as your replacement and service warrant it)

And they are definitely based in China judging from their emails lol. Which is actually surprising because I've never had such good luck with service with an overseas customer support.

I got my replacement band in today and it is fantastic! I haven't seen the real band in person but this one feels and looks great. I'm definitely satisfied with it.
Now if it will hold up at my work place, that will be the real test. I work in a paper mill that is very rigorous, dirty and hot (120+).

Glad to hear it worked out for you. Told you their bands are decent quality.

Just ordered the black/gray Nike knockoff from that vendor with my 50% off code. Hopefully the quality is the same.
