Good grief, what next?
My machines go nameless until they go wrong. Then they all become "the effing thing".
This may be a can of worms.
As a dyed in the wool nerd I am having a hard time deciding whether to go for an obvious Star Wars reference for the name or something more obscure like a call out to 70's Doctor Who.
I've already grown out of a phase of naming everything for JRR Tolkien books.
What are your clever or silly names for your New Mac Pros?

I'm so boring. I named my first Mac "Node00" and each one since then just gets incremented.
I rename "Macintosh HD" to remove the space from the path name in case it were ever an issue, and always name my other volumes without spaces for the same reason. Some of my distributed render stuff gets upset by spaces in the full path.
