No Camera button on lock screen? [Merged]

Just updated, it deleted all my apps, no biggie, i'll re-download. but i just noticed, isnt there supposed to be a camera icon on the lock screen so you can take photos from there? i dont see even a button...anyone else?
 
Where is lock screen camera?

I thought that iOS 5 would allow us to have a camera icon on the lock screen. Is this something that you need to set up? I can't seem to find a spot to do that. Thanks for any help.
 
Hey neat! That's how I used to do it years ago before they made it into the Task Manager shortcut only. :D

Camera Button

There is suppose to be a camera button on the lock screen down on the bottom but I dont have one? Anyone else know anything about this?
 
No access to camera from lock screen?

there is no option to access the camera from the lock screen. is that for iPhone 4S only? i thought that was available on iOS 5

This. It won't just be there on it's own, you gotta double press the home button.
 
when i double press the home button, the iPod/Music is activated

Camera button on Lock Screen

Did anyone else notice that the camera button on the lock screen is not showing up? I searched all over for the option to enable this and I couldn't find anything. Was this left out? Am I missing something???

Did you double click on the lock screen? It only appears when you do that.
