No Camera button on lock screen? [Merged]

Did anyone else notice that the camera button on the lock screen is not showing up? I searched all over for the option to enable this and I couldn't find anything. Was this left out? Am I missing something???

This is the feature I wanted - to be able to take pics without typing in my unlock code.

Is this a 4s only feature, or, should I be able to do this on my 4 ?

I tried to look for something like this before I posted. I didn't see anything so if there is I apologize.
After updating to iOS 5 when I am in my lockscreen I don't see the camera button by the slide bar. Not sure if this is a bug and others have seen it or if it is just me. Thanks

You obviously didn't look very hard. There are at least 10 other threads about this and five named the exact same as this one.

I just did the double click thing and I can't get the camera icon... Just the Photos icon. I guess that's an "iPhone only" feature, or a "Not on iPad" feature.

I though it would always be there once activated, would be a nice touch as i use the camera a lot.

1) the phone locks itself and requires a passcode to unlock - the camera icon is present automatically
2) the phone is locked manaully (using the power button on top) and doesnt require a passcode - double press the home button and the camera icon appears
