No Killer Apps?!

It's an app, that when not used properly, will lead to the untimely demise of the end user. It's clearly stated in the iOS EULA.
Well in that case I would say Siri and Reminders are the new "killer" apps. I use them both daily!
Sorry, games are only for kids and teens? Not sure how to answer this thread then because games count.
Sand box applications lead to less creativity and less useful software because applications can't interact with other iPhone systems and other software.
Go look at Cydia, your more likely to find killer application there.

I don't think thats what the OP meant. Point is that while games do have their place, they arent "killer" apps that make life easier.
I think it's exactly what the OP meant. You don't have to be a kid/teen in order to enjoy and have fun with games.
And I don't have ADHD. Therefore, I don't really need a new "killer" app. I just need the existing apps to work well, which I consistently get with the iPhone.

In reality: depends on who you ask. What's "killer" for one may not be for the next.

I agree and also use them daily. But Siri is more a feature, Reminders is built in and both are 1st party. The OP is asking about 3rd party "killer apps" and the fact that nobody can mention one that is truly original and a must have for the mass market does reinforce his point.
The only "killer app" that I've picked up in the last few months is Tweetbot, but I think that's been out since April or so. It's heads and shoulders above the official Twitter client. I'd consider that a killer app since I use it more than anything else on my phone besides maybe the native messaging client.
For me, djay is a killer app that continues to get better. Niche market for sure, but it's *my* killer app...
The original killer app was VisiCalc. It was killer because the only reason most people bought Apple II's was to run VisiCalc. Now the market is much more diverse, and there is no one big thing that motivates everyone to buy an iDevice. Though some would say the web browser or email, I'd say the killer meta-app is the App Store.
