what about CARDS?
cards isn't that good, I'd rather write a letter myself
what about CARDS?
What is a "killer app"? I remember the killer app before the spreadsheet was "Electric Pencil". It was a word processor that would automatically wrap text to the next line when you reached the edge of the document.
In no way am I trying to dismiss how incredible the apps you mentioned are, but everything you pointed out shows that these are made for niche and VERY specific users.
Maybe I'm wrong, but that is why I question what exactly a "Killer App" is. Because, IMO, a true killer app is something that changes the way the mass market does things rather than an app that only brings mobility to a small/niche group of people.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)
Has anyone else noticed the absence of any new killer apps (third party) for the iPhone in the past year or so? I've almost given up on browsing the AppStore.
Games don't count. I'm not a kid/teen.

Really? You have to be a kid/teen to play a game? Really?
I don't think thats what the OP meant. Point is that while games do have their place, they arent "killer" apps that make life easier.

Sorry, disclude and unclude are not words and preclude means to prevent from happening. I think the word you are looking for is exclude.
In the context of this thread: something new and shiny. What is a "killer app"?
I agree and also use them daily. But Siri is more a feature, Reminders is built in and both are 1st party. The OP is asking about 3rd party "killer apps" and the fact that nobody can mention one that is truly original and a must have for the mass market does reinforce his point.Well in that case I would say Siri and Reminders are the new "killer" apps. I use them both daily!
It's actually unclude.
Killer app? Soundhound for example.
