Has anyone else noticed the absence of any new killer apps (third party) for the iPhone in the past year or so? I've almost given up on browsing the AppStore..

Yeah, I keep looking for SuperSpouse 2.0 and can't seem to find it anywhere in the App Store...

being a Windows Phone user, I'd say the reason why there have been no 'killer' apps in the past year is because the iPhone already has all the killer apps. Us on Windows Phone are still waiting for the killer apps. Once the platform matures like iOS and Android, there are very little 'killer' apps left.
I think Windows Phone is going to be 'too little, too late' Unless MS can convince phone makers to add something to the phone we all want more than an iPhone or Droid. How about a USB port?

MS has a history of saying they are going to support something only to drop it later. FoxPro for Windows? dBase for Windows... the future of windows development?? Sure!

China is THE growing market, Windows phone doesn't support their language!
All they got is a cool active/live tile thing... need more than that!

That's what people said about the iPod.

DBase was never a Microsoft product? ( Borland bought dbase and now probably offloaded it)

Never say never.

Try TuneIn Radio Pro. This is a killer app for me. I know what you mean by not including games. Games are fine, but lately, I've been tired seeing stupid games popping up in app store. Back in the iPhone 3G days, we used to have awesome apps and stuff, but now its mostly stupid games with iAds.
