lol, sorry but you have no idea...

100 pages on iphone? No but on iPad with keyboard... yes sure why not?

Apple sees the future (right or wrong) as cloud based with a portal of some kind into the cloud.

Final cut and Logic will become a web app GUI that Apple then run at lightening speed for you on their server farm, stored on a public drive so that your customers can simply log in and view it.

thats the future my friend (or the future as apple see it)

Yeah and you are Steve right? iToys are just TOYS! Even iPad with KB ain't enough as dual 24"s barely do it for me. Having 4 browser windows and one Pages window doesn't work with iPad.

Online media is still years away. Why? Because so many people are stuck with bad connection and caps. Sure when we get 10Gbit down and 5Gbit up it's possible but that's taking years plus that's WiFi, how about 7G?

Final Cut is used by Hollywood professionals and I doubt they want to see the rendering taking 5 weeks with iPad. Apple makes huge money from Macs and OS X.

That might be the future but not in this decade. So many things have to be developed before that might work in theory. Now uploading a film takes several hours. I don't even want to start how long it takes to backup several TBs of data...

Yeah. He's right. All these who said Apple will stop with computers and might continue with these toys sounds like little kids.

I'm very dissapointed from this keynote. It's like the worst one Apple ever had. Besides the iPhone 4 That everyone heard about already they didn't announce of any upgrade for their computers or anything new. Is there still any chance it'll be announced on WWDC? Or anytime soon?

:\ I really wanted to buy it already...

I don't think you really understand what WWDC is. It's certainly not a place/event where Apple announces consumer desktops. WWDC is for developers.

I've been waiting for the new Mac Mini as well for the past week. My boyfriend's brother works in an Apple retail store and told me that a huge supply of Macs are coming to stock sometime during the next week. I think that's when they're doing the Mac Mini upgrade.

It's best to wait around a week and see what will happen.

Yeah and i contacted MacConnection And they said: " The Mac Mini is currently backordered due to arrive roughly eta 6/18 ", Which is after the 15th. So maybe it can be possible...

This is all so close to the iPhone 4 release. If updates to Mac hardware is soon would they occur in between the announcement of iPhone 4 and its availability or just after the 24th release date? New MacBook Pros were released 10 days after the first iPad was launched. Big guessing game

AFAIK, there has only once been an update after WWDC before August, that was in 2005 when MacBook got updated in June. June and July have never been timeframe for Mac updates really, it usually September-October. Of course, anything can happen but the past ain't backing up the "imminent" update ;)

I believe we'll know for sure if it'll be this month or in October in the 15th, When Apple is gonna update the Store for the iPhone 4.

I was psyched when I saw Best Buy offering 20% bing cashback. That would make a brand new Mac Mini cheaper than a refurbished machine. So I jumped right on the BB site earlier this week.....to find not a SINGLE Mac Mini available. So now I'm REALLY hoping for the update.

Notice the question mark behind that news title. That means it is unconfirmed and unofficial, so it's not yet made it to proof.

Here's the prove Apple's not going to give up on the Macs Computers:

WWDC For Mac Computers too.

It's just a rumor, don't take it too officially. It would still be a year away and WWDC is still meant for DEVELOPERS, thus it would just split App store developers and OS X developers because I think many OS X developers are avoiding WWDC now if they are not interested on App store as WWDC has been more or less App store and iPhone concentrated in last few years.

It's great idea though but I wouldn't get excited about any updates, mainly just some stuff about future OS Xs.

+1 for that. It's still software driven.

I'm really hoping for a Mac Mini update as I plan to replace my Mid 2009 MacBook with one, however it's pointless buying one at the moment as they have almost the same specs.
Main thing I want is the nVidia 320M graphics card. Wouldn't mind a slight CPU bump and maybe larger hard drive. But then again, those last 2 wouldn't affect me at all. I'll be putting my own 320GB drive in it as soon as I get it.

Yeah Same here. The only reason i need this update is the graphic card...

You need a new system after just one year? You're quite the little tech slave. :)

apple is focusing on the iOS platform recently...it might be awhile for them to pay the needed attention to the mac platform

I really hope Apple will release it on the 15th, I will go praying. My uncle goes to America in Wednesday and he can buy it to me when he's back. It's way cheaper there than where i live. Almost $250 Different.
