No Mac Pro?

I am puzzled by those who think that the iMac Pro is the new Mac Pro. That's silly - they have already done what Apple never does: apologize for a past product and promise to bring a better one around next time. The iMac Pro is the professional AIO; the tower (or whatever it might be) is still in the process of being designed.

Agreed, but to be fair, not everyone is geeking out reading up as much as a lot of us on here, and Apple hasn't made it abundantly clear for the 'average pro', really.
