RAM management is still limiting on iOS / iPadOS, people say this over and over; there’s not much of a use case between 4GB and 6GB in iPadOS. Promotion is great, even though I can’t tell the difference myself (some people are like me, bad eyes I guess lol). Quad speakers also nice to have. As someone elaborated above, CPU and GPU better yes in some cases only. Now storage options also is a differentiator.

We’ll see whether Apple ditch the 11” IPP or not in the future.
I’m not against the 11” IPP existence, like I said, I love mine. It’s just I think the Air 4 offers better value for most people, not all people including me.

a MBA is not a better value to an owner of a MBP when they want a MBP, or a Mac Mini to a Mac Pro owner (even right now with M1 it’s not the same as a 2019 Mac Pro) yet comparing same chip types every generation nope.

To each their own buddy 🙂
I would pick M1 Mac Mini over any Intel Macs currently.

Read what I typed ... I specifically stated Mac Mini vs Mac Pro the latter still has the best performance comparing the top tier units.

Looking forward to future Apple Silicon chips in iMac/iMac Pro ... and 14” MBP ... THEN I’m with you on that.
Until then ... iPad Pro ‘18 11” as primary for now so I’m already in that freight train roll on ;)

Yeah, looking forward for the updated iMac, probably with new bezel design.

Even more confused now Ross Young latest report says

10.9 OLED

12.9 mini LED

however OLED is for 2022 not 2021
