No iPhone Nano either but we saw that one coming :p.
10:34AM Well that's it folks -- no Steve, no iPhone nano, no new Mini, no new iMac, no shockers, no surprises. We're off to the floor... but hey, Tony Bennett is incredibly smooth. And that's something, right?
Bit of a let down though, they haven't got rid of the final White MacBook from the Apple lineup either, well theirs always CES I suppose.
Well who else is infuriatingly disappointed?

I'm very, very dissapointed. There waas nothing cool at MW this year -.-
They only talked about iLife and iWork.

Lets see if they come out with em soon

VERY disappointed! I have credit card here for Mac Mini.

Haven't they heard of the financial crisis. We dont need more expensive iTunes and a ridiculously expensive MBP 17" !! We need CHEAP.

OH man, what a let down. No wonder Steve handed the keynote to Phil... not even a glimpse of Snow Leopard.

LMAO!!! mac Mini folks will never give up hope. its become pretty obvious that the mini is no more. move on people:D

Apple won't be getting rid of the Mini anytime soon, it brings in quite a bit of money, not as much as the rest of the line but hey, money. Plus its a great option for Apple users who don't have enough money to spend on an iMac or Mac Pro.

Mini is the entry level Mac so people buys that and loves it and buys new Mac and so on. Usually you don't buy Mac Pro as your first Mac

Okay... so we didn't get a new Mac Mini/iMac at MW... when is the next possible venue for a release... or is Apple even doing releases at scheduled events now? Could a Special Event from Apple be forthcoming soon? Or will they wait for WWDC??

apple store back up - no stealth mini upgrade. too bad.

No new displays - a bigger disappointment to me.

at least hte new MBP has an antiglare option!

This is so depressing. I returned a mac mini I got as a christmas present because I was so sure they'd be updated because they are SO old and outdated. They need to at least be TOUCHED in the next month, if not a full overhaul with dedicated GPU. I don't care if it's $700, I have my own monitors I want to use and I need a desktop/home theater Mac soon dammit.

oh dear...i've been waiting for..(i'm embarrassed to admit) since august lol oh deary me....but i'm a lil annoyed and prob not accepted the fact that there's no imac lol ...there might be still hope...but i think it's funny that i've been waiting so long and nothing :D haha oh god i'm bumbling...

i might wait so tho..since i don't really need it..dunno about other people..?

but why...slightly off subject... did macrumors live feed go a bit wierd? lol

Yep really dissapointing

How hard can it be to replace very VERY old hardware in a Mac Mini??!!

Apple did say they didn't want their release program ruled by events such as MacWorld, so let's hope they crack on with the next release and we see a new Mini in the next few weeks.

Please?

Maybe they'll announce the new imac/mini when they are ready to ship or close to it.

It's certainly not a lot of fun to get an announcement and then not be able to buy. The new iStuff is a good example. Gotta wait until the end of January.

Maybe (definitely) this is why Apple wants out of the tyranny of the MacWorld schedule. Then they can announce and ship rather than announce and wait. I think that's better.
