Where is my BIG mini?!
Boy was I disappointed, I sat ready to finally-finally buy a new mini... Actually, what I was really hoping for, was the end of "the missing Mac", just a good modern stylish Apple desktop computer (4-8GB RAM, 3.5"HD, newest processor and graphics, BlueRay). What is Apple doing?! The Mac Pro is very big and expensive, and the Mac Mini is very small. In between is nothing. Yes; the iMac, but that's an all-in-one that I don't need/want. A new Cube is what I really want, or else a BIG mini. I made a page about it, here, and if you would like to digg it, go here. "The Best Is Yet To Come"? I hope so. WHEN?

I was watching it Live, and I heard it, I was hoping he was gonna come back on stage and say "Oh, and another thing!".
There'd be no point in Apple sparing the expense to go to a huge event like MacWorld, then on the last day randomly announce an update to the iMac/Mac Mini...
So, not gonna happen.

I am beyond displeased that the Mac Mini is being neglected by Apple, yet they make a $2800 MBP for the BMW/Lexus crowd . I guess the Mac Mini is so practical as is, they do not want to compete against themselves on the higher end stuff. pathetic methinks. Mac Rumors buying guide should reflect the fact that it does not seem that one is coming soon, also of note is the lack of any refurbished mac mini's in the Apple store. thoughts?

I am ready to throw cash at a new mini. New body like the new macbooks (cut the screen, battery and voila you have a keyboard), faster processor, nvidea chipset.

My prediction for the upcoming mac mini update:
-All relevant procs & chipsets will be brought up to date
-No more optical drive
-Mini Display Port only
-no firewire
Just to keep with the ongoing theme.
