No New Imac

At the start of the presentation Phil said there were 3 things to talk about, 2 pieces of software and then the 17" macbook pro. Unless he's holding out on us .. (hopefully).

Of course there is one coming, the question is when, one week, or one year? There has been no mention of it at macworld, so chances are the wait will drag on for a while
 
goddamnit, could have bought an iMac a month ago. And all i get is a slap in the face for waiting.
 
I think I may just buy an iMac today than regardless... I have been waiting for 2 months and Im tired of waiting. These new upgrades have to at least make it a little less bad... right?
 
Perhaps a silent spec update once the store reopens? And btw, wasn't snow leopard supposed to be discussed as well?
 
i waited and then bam ! no new iMac . What to do then ? Buy now or keep on waiting?
 
One more thing...

They ain't gonna announce the one more thing before it happens.

Same here... And now that I've waited so long I'm just going to keep on waiting. THe only thing thats happened is that the current model has gotten more outdated

Your just reaching here. I wanted this as much as anyone, im sitting on a film set with my laptop checking engadget 10 times a minute, but its over, no update right now, the end.
 
OK maybe there is no new iMac. Bugger!

Can't be long now, though...

...what about the Mac Mini? Seriously, Apple needs to do something soon... so it can't be long now before "The Spotlight Turns To Desktops".

I think there will be a special event later this month or early next month to coincide with the launch of iLife '09.
 
Damn! I wish I had gone for one with the 10% discount on Black Friday now. £60 off a printer too. I feel a little sick! I really don't know what to do now. Wait for a future update?

I will probably stay with pc at this point... I gave apple 3 months to catch up to the quad core trend, they didnt, so they'll loose my $2,000... I doubt it will be any skin off their backs
 
I wanted to buy a 24" iMac for my Dad this Jan but guess would have to wait. I was counting on the LED scree and quad core processor with a Decent Graphics Card guess it was too much to ask.

My sentiments exactly. This was my first time following an Apple keynote and I must say that TOTALLY sucked. :mad:

So when is the next big event? WWDC? Is that in June?

I guess I'll still wait b/c I'd hate to buy an iMac now and have it updated the second I pay for it.

Argh!!!!
