Since I turned on Find my Phone in the iCloud settings, this has been working fine. Rebooted the phone. Email definitely quit. Receiving mails through without a hitch now.

Turned Find my Phone back off again and it's still working so may be coincidental.
Weird. It might be coincidental, but I just turned it off and back on again, also, and my me.com messages are now being pushed.

My iCloud push is working on both my iPad2 with iOS5 and my iPhone 4S...

You sure? Unload the mail app from background. Then from your ipad, send your me.com an email. The mail won't push. BUT you open the mail app and now it loads.

And I just tested my iCal. If my iCal is closed any new calender events created in the cloud or my home computer will not load to the phone. This is bad because since I DON'T use iCal, I use Pocket Informant, I have to remember to open iCal to load any changes. or keep iCal running in background.

It might just be a coincidental placebo, but the turn "find my iphone" off and on trick is worth a try. It's certainly easy enough to do (but I also brought up FMI to locate my iphone, just in case).

I just created an appointment in icloud web calendar, opened up pocket informatant on my iphone (where I've never opened either PI or calendar since the last reboot, which was just a few minutes ago), and the icloud appointment appeared in PI.

Turn off find my iPhone in the iCloud pref on the phone? Yup. Just did it. Nothing changed.

I can send a message to my iPhone 4S, iPad 2, and MacBook Pro using my .Mac to MobileMe to iCloud converted account, and my wife's newly created iCloud account on her iPhone 4 and old iPod Touch 4G, and they all beep immediately within 2 seconds of each other.

You know, Apple support reps are human too.

I'm having the same issue, but it's very inconsistent. For the first few days after moving my MobileMe account to iCloud my mail was truly pushed only part of the time. Everything appears to be working fine now. I could be wrong but I don't recall having issues if the mail app was closed from the multitask menu with MobileMe.

Like i said in my previous post this has to be a server problem on their end... I had mobile me since it came out, and had the same problem because everyone was on the free trial and the server couldn't not handle it. When the free trials started to expired mobile me became real solid and reliable. Now that it's free i can imagine how the servers are taking a big hit, but that's not a excuse for not getting my emails i still had my mobile that i paid just a couple months ago and i want the same reliable service like i gad before.

Turning off Find My Phone worked for me. Turned it off. Messages from iCloud started pushing. Turned it back on. Messages continued pushing. Hopefully this is a permanent fix for me. It's worth a try for others having issues.

I remember that. It very much seems like a server issue, as you say. Last night it wasn't working for me and today things are back to normal. I hope they have plenty of room to expand down at the North Carolina facility. :D

I just tried this and messages still don't come in while Mail is closed.

Edit: Nevermind, now it's working. I'll explain what I did to make it work.

I turned off Find my iPhone, quit Mail and sent myself an email. Nothing happened, so I went back and turned Find my iPhone back on. Then, I restarted my phone. Upon restarting, that test email came in (mail is still closed). Then, without opening mail, I sent a Test 2 email and that appeared 2 seconds after.

It appears to be working now.

Hopefully this can be done to other iPhones.

Mines not working either. It's also not updating e-mails across my devices either. I have emails on my iPad from earlier on the week. Anyone experiencing this.

Oh man, it's finally working. Turned off Find my phone, turned on mail and now I have push mail with me account. Just to confirm I turned Find my phone option and mails stopped being pushed again. So I turned it off again but still mails didn't come in. I had to turn off mail in the iCloud options and turn it on again and it's working. Thanks man for the tip. You're a lifesaver.
