I don't even know what those are....lol
DT2W = Double Tap to Wake aka Knock knock on LG G2

Glance = Moto X style notoification screen, only you have the option to keep the scrren on all the time, set it to turn on and off at intervals, set it to turn on only when you pick it up or take out of your pocket or not at all.

I think you will love it especially if you thought the 520 was a capable device.

Granted it is my first dance into the WP OS but I love everything about the phone minus the power button being the only option to turn it on at the moment. Screen is very good, battery life is ridiculously good (almost 2 full days),and the device flies and is very snappy.

Ya, the 520 was my first WP8 device and it's alright. Like I mentioned, I never use it and haven't tried to use it as a daily driver due to the lack of LTE and my understanding of WP....just not comfortable with it. Its fun to play with and I tell myself if I had a bit more capable WP device, I might give it a go as a daily driver.

Of course, I'd rather not pay a lot for it....thanks to Lloyd, I was able to get back into the Android world for pretty cheap. I wouldn't even spend that much ($275) on a Windows Phone at this point....

I think I'll end up pulling the trigger. I feel like its pointless keeping the 520, but its like keeping the dumb phone I used when I studied abroad in Argentina....no point selling it so...

Gotcha - not that big a deal for me. I've lived this long without them :p

I've had nothing but flag ship phones in the past and having this budget device that does every single thing I need it too and does it well has really made me look at how I buy phones in the future.

I spent $99 on this phone versus the $200 2 year contract or $500-$700 for a flagship device in the past.

Tech addiction is really tough.

Oh boy is it! Lol....harder on my wife likely than me....

Regardless of how great a budget device is, I'll always have the desire for the flagship Apple product. Phones like the Nexus 5 and Lumia 635 just allow me to play in other arenas more affordably ;)

Thats exactly what I am doing here. I've been with Android for the last 3 or 4 years after coming from Apple.

I have had a negative experience the last couple years and was looking to try WP after the 8.1 update was announced. Wanted to do it cheap, on a solid device, with the new update and the 635 meets that.

Next major phone will either be a WP flagship or seeing what the iPhone 6 has to offer.

Ironic, but I have a feeling all 3 of us will be playing with an iPhone 6 come Sept/Oct as our daily driver. At least for a month or so. :)

Lol .... I'm on my 6 or 7th phone since the new year...... Yep I guarantee I'll be rocking an iPhone 6 this year too.

:)

Really liking my 930 a heck of a lot. but do miss DTTW and GLANCE .... :(

They really need to separate DT2W and Glance. DT2W should be an option under Display settings and every Nokia phone should have it. There is no reason not to code it in... Other than laziness.
