Finally got this tonight when I checked USPS tracking. 4 days (pretty slow processing) in Chicago's Customs area for mine -- at least that is what someone on the forum said the ISC Chicago IL (USPS) was. Finally at a regular USPS area for sending on its way. And packages are being sent Registered Mail, not media mail. Hopefully USPS will provide better and more timely tracking info than I got from DirectLink/PostNord, but I know sometimes I get good tracking from USPS and other times it suddenly shows tracking info in my area with nothing else in between much like what I and others experienced with DirectLink. As I said before I have always believed Nomad shipped the packages out at the end of May/first week of June as they stated and that those who didn't cancel will get packages after working its way from China. Needless to say the shipping delays and tracking on these stands has been horrible which Nomad has also stated several times. I do believe there isn't much one can do once it's left your control.

So since you work for the post office how long should it take for Registered mail delivery to reach the West Coast?

Looked up USPS info for another forum member who posted their order no./tracking, who apparent is on the West coast as well, and saw that his should be delivered very shortly, so figure probably 2-3 days for me depending on how this gets routed.

** Here's a link to the other forum thread where people's packages are starting to arrive by Registered Mail (requiring signature): https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/nomad-stands-delayed.1875278/page-26#post-21505852 Here's a link to the post regarding DirectLink/PostNord's explanation of why U.S. packages were delayed in Sweden's customs and when Nomad should start seeing them hit the countries affected : https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/nomad-stands-delayed.1875278/page-23#post-21475561

Registered Mail is a First Class Service. Once it leaves Chicago, you would have it within 2-3 days.

It could be Registered that was held up in customs.

My package has been sitting in Chicago for at least 5-6 days now with no movement.

There is no way that would happen if that was Registered Mail without customs holdup.

And Mac2Me...

This was said to you in another related thread...

PLEASE stop defending this company and encouraging people to order from them.

Do you know how many people are having problems with NOMAD? Have you even read their Facebook page?

Are you aware of the refund runarounds they are giving us? They are lying and telling customers they cannot refund credit cards and that they need to do it through PayPal? That is being done intentionally so that the vendor does not get a bad rating.

This whole ordeal has been badly botched and we, the customers who put in initial preorders have had nothing but lies thrown in our direction.

Anyone that is waiting for a Pod or a Stand should be very wary about whether they are going to receive timely delivery of the product.

Wow I didn't realize this company had such a bad start. I just got their Pod and I really really like it (charging my watch on it now) - even allows pass through charging (can charge watch and charge the pod at the same time) from the looks of it. I really like it.

Kinda sad to see that. I got mine pretty quickly and the product is really nice (for the price, it should be). Figured I'd post here to say I highly recommend it for the quality - sad to see they had such a bad start tho.

Edit... wow oops... 2015 thread, sorry.
