I am still waiting for the 1:1 clone as well but my 0,5:1 clone comes next week :p

Bit pricy to buy different ones each time!

Here it is!

Given it's price, I'd give it a 9/10 after looking/wearing it. It REALLY looks like a 1:1 clone of the ML from Apple. The magnet is really strong and everything from the adapter clasp with the watch and the appearance of the band is strikingly similar if not exactly like the actual one. The only problem I have is that unlike the real one, the loop actually unravels from one of the adapters so it could be risky in wearing at situations such as rollercoasters or anything with a lot of air/force/pressure near your hand but I don't really mind since the magnet is already really strong and doesn't come off until you actually put some effort to unravel it. I would recommend to anyone!

Do you like the color difference on the ML and the Sport Space Grey? Tried it on in the Apple Store but i felt let down. The ML was too shiny for the Sport Space Grey. Too bad they haven't release a darker one(maybe Space grey) Milanese Loop.

Didn't the guy who recommended the inkwhatever seller say that the clone ML does not unravel... Sigh this is a deal breaker

What company sells that ML band posted above? It looks really nice. I'd like to get one!

I read another external positive review on the MoKo clone sport bands. I just ordered a full set of the MoKo bands from Amazon. I will report in when they arrive.

By the way. I ran by the Apple Store today. While I didn't have a chance to take pics, it seems like the only difference is that the replica is not as shiny as the original, which I actually prefer.

Personally, I dig the contrast between the shiny ML, space grey casing, and black screen. Reminds me a bit of the contrast between the space grey iphone 6 casing and screen. A white clockface makes it look even that much better. Of course, the SS AW will always look better but I like this combo even moreso than the raw aluminum AWS + ML

And about the unraveling, the picture bmwell posted also occurs in my ML but its only when the magnetic part is slanted so the diagonal width is too big to go through the space but the actual width the band itself is able to go through for me. But like I said, the magnetic clasp is really strong so I wouldn't worry about it unravelling easily because the clasp would most likely attach to the band right at the edge of the opening before going through because its THAT strong.

So the mesh is pretty much the same?

My ML clone just arrived today and it is almost a perfect replica of the OEM. Mine does not unravel.

Thanks again for all these updates. If I pre-order the 1:1 clone with Regis can I use your discount code?

Give me a few days and I'll report back on it. It definitely won't be 90 bucks but I'll see what's possible.

My leather loop from Sikai (ali express) is finally here!
At first, the short side of the band would move side to side when locked in, and have the typical gap seen on all the other bands.
I tried flipping it, and it no longer moves, and there is also no gap.
The long strap doesn't lock in place. Moves around a lot. I'm not sure how much I'd trust it.

Also, there are a lot of black fragments coming off the band as I touch it. I feel like it'll fall apart fairly quickly.

Overall, not worth the 2 month wait.

Edit: After playing with it a bit, I got it to stay locked. But not sure how long it will last, especially if I'll be switching to sport band when I run.

After all these reports I really think we should ban SIKAI recommendations from this thread. I also received a Loop (not from SIKAI) and there are also some material rests from production coming off of that but that SIKAI makes you flip it the wrong way to stay locked sounds a bit too much IMO. I did not experience this with the version I got. Glad you found a solution you seem to be satisfied with though - saw you got a 5 USD discount.

Any chance that we see a black Milanese loop with magnetic closure?

I'll be on the lookout.

Haha, way better than my video. Nice work.

No no but thanks for your praise ian! I'll send you PM soon - a little too busy these days - I read it just so you know. ;-)

What do you mean by gaps?
i am referring to the gaps between the adapters and the watch. It seems that the adapters are about 0.5 to 1mm short thus showing a gap on either side of the watch. I also have this issue with my ML.

The side facing away from me is not affected by that. The side that is towards me I would say 0.5mm at most which is hardly noticeable. For comparison, the LL had bigger gaps and yet it didn't bother me much.

I think he raised the price to 52 after I sent the same offer as everyone else. Guess I'll just wait and buy apples.

Seriously.. Go for it! Can't believe this thing only cost me 30$... Magnet is overly strong. I'm even more impressed with the ML than the LL.

Thanks for the photos. It's certainly a great deal, but I must… resist! LOL

The future versions must surely be almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
