Non-OEM (FAKE/CLONE) Apple Watch Bands

You received yours? How is it?

It's decent. The color, texture and feel are all pretty close to Apple's. One corner of the bottom adapter is off but it seems all the clones suffer from that so I was expecting it. The one thing I don't like is the length. The Apple loop didn't loop around as much - it fit perfectly for me. I might return this one and order from one of the sellers that offers the smaller size that's more on par with Apple's medium size but I haven't decided yet. Other than that it's pretty nice.

On a side note ... a link clone I ordered from AliExpress should be arriving today. Excited to see what I'll end up with!

Bought the "0,5:1" clone from Regis Electric Mall without the discount mention earlier but he did offered me some extra links for free!
(Because the original one is just 1 link to tight for me.)

He shipped the band on the day he said so the first signs are great.

Hope that band is also great.

My brown LL from inked just arrived (ordered Fri Jul 24). Still mad that it was most likely shipped from China (DHL eCommerce and handed off to USPS at Secaucus, NJ). Other than that, It's exactly as everyone here has said:

(a) Looks a bit plasticy, as does the apple one (my wife, who doesn't care about the watch or bands at all said it looks like something from one of the kids toys) ... I will try the leather oil treatment people are recommending and see if that helps

(b) It is a bit short on the bottom left side of the connection (the infamous gap, which is hard to see unless you are really looking for it)

(c) You need to push the connector button on the band to get it in smoothly (at least at first, haven't had it long enough to see if it gets better.​

I can post pics if anyone wants, but it's exactly the same as all the previous pics. Very comfortable, I must say.

PS: So far my clockwork synergy olive nylon nato-style is still my favorite and the best made out of my four 3rd party bands (generic leather knock-off | clockwork synergy | casemate leather | LL knock-off)

I actually considered that and decided to post in this thread due to the fact the bands pictured are leather loop clones with designs printed on them.

Those photos tricked my eyes and I didn't realise they were leather loops. Those chameleons do look unique. Great find.

Inkoo's milanese loop came in today and I have to say for 30 dollars it's pretty nice. it looks exactly like the original apple milanese loop at least from what I can tell through pictures. The magnet is extremely strong. I was disappointed at first because I saw that the loop had dark/black-ish marks or maybe creases but it might've just been the small metal loops playing a trick on my eyes because when I wear it I don't see anymore. Anyways it was a good purchase in my opinion. If you want photos I can post some.

The original band does not have this.

Also it looks like the band it a little bit less "round" around the wrist. the original is more smooth.

Nice review but i'll wait until the 1:1 clone in Space Grey is available. The "butterfly" opening system is really going to annoy me so i'll hold on until the real one is cloned 100%.

Does anyone have a better idea on why these band makers aren't making sport bands that are different than apple's colors? To me it doesn't seem like it would be difficult once you have the shape down!

Here it is!

Given it's price, I'd give it a 9/10 after looking/wearing it. It REALLY looks like a 1:1 clone of the ML from Apple. The magnet is really strong and everything from the adapter clasp with the watch and the appearance of the band is strikingly similar if not exactly like the actual one. The only problem I have is that unlike the real one, the loop actually unravels from one of the adapters so it could be risky in wearing at situations such as rollercoasters or anything with a lot of air/force/pressure near your hand but I don't really mind since the magnet is already really strong and doesn't come off until you actually put some effort to unravel it. I would recommend to anyone!
